Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. whats the charging current on this battery charger?

A: That is not listed, however Canon states that it can charge BP-A30 (45 Wh) in approximately two hours and fifty minutes. A BP-A60 (90 Wh) will take approximately five hours.

Q: 2. Is there a way to check the battery information on this battery? Not just the capacity but the overall battery health as well.

A: No, the Canon BP-A60 Battery Pack for EOS C300 Mark II, C200, and C200B does not have inbuilt support for checking the capacity or health of the battery. We have only seen Professional V-mount and Gold mount batteries with the Health checking features. As an example from Core SWX: Charger: Core SWX VoltBridge Enabled Fleet Micro 3A Digital Quad Charger for V-Mount Batteries BH #COFLEETQ4MSI • MFR #FLEET-Q4MSI Battery: Core SWX NANOX V98 Micro 98Wh Li-Ion Battery (V-Mount) BH #CONANOV98X Voltbridge iD Each NANOX pack comes equipped with an RFID chip to store accumulated battery data. Simply wave your phone near the pack to access vital stats. Arriving this Summer, Core's Voltbridge ID app streamlines battery fleet management effortlessly.

Q: 3. Can this be adapted to attach on a rail system?

A: The Wooden Camera Battery Slide for C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II (Gold Mount) does not offer adaption to a rail system.

Q: 4. Description says it sits at an angle. That makes sense for hot swapping, but can it also sit flush against the back of the camera? That's what I'm looking for for hand held. An angled battery would be just as uncomfortable as the stupid canon battery design as it is.

A: Using a BP-A30 battery will allow the Wooden Camera Battery Slide to sit flush to the camera.

Q: 5. Can you fly in a commercial airliner with this battery?

A: Yes, but you have to carry it on board with you. Do not leave it in your checked luggage.

Q: 6. How long does it take to fully charge this battery with the C300 Mk II charger?

A: The Canon Battery Charger for EOS C300 Mark II Camcorder Batteries B&H # CACGA10 charging a BP-A60 will take approximately five hours.

Q: 7. Does this also work with the Canon C500?

A: I'm afraid not. The C500 is not compatible with the BP-A system from Canon. The C500 instead works with the BP-900 system, such as batteries like the BP-955 which is B&H # CABP955.https://bhpho.to/2mI2liq

Q: 8. Can I use it with the Canon EVF ?

A: no you can not

Q: 9. Could this work with a c300 MkII?

A: No it can not.

Q: 10. Would this fit on on a small hd monitor too?

A: The Wooden Camera Mini Monitor Hinge for Canon C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II is made for a specific monitor and has not been tested for use with SmallHD monitors.

With the 1.4 lens I get fantastic depth control and beautiful shots. Couldn't be happier. Doesn't seem to have an auto focus for the video mode so that has been the only challenging feature.

Used mainly for stills as still trying to learn video techniques. Sharp in adequate lighting but excellent in low light. Still discovering all the new functionalities not available in previous camera, Rebel Series. Love the wide angle capture with full frame sensor. But learning to deal with less reach due to full frame sensor.

I waited nearly two years for the 5D Mark ii to come down in price. Finally took the plunge as I know the Mark ii is being discontinued. I am a semi-pro photographer shooting mainly portraits and landscape. I use my 7D for sports. I haven't had too many opportunities yet to use the the Mark ii, but what I have shot so far is meeting my expectations from all the other reviews that I have read regarding this amazing camera body. Paired with my 24-70 and 70-200 EF lenses I am seeing wonderful clarity and lovely color. I know I will not be disappointed going forward.

I upgraded from a Canon 50D, which is also an excellent crop-sensor DSLR. I wanted better ISO performance and to have a FF, so when B&H had it on sale for Christmas, I couldn't pass it up.I use it mostly for portraits and landscape. The IQ and ISO performance are just awesome!
