Q: 1. Will this fit 2 Pentax 67 cameras without wood grip?

A: Hi Vladimir, I'm not personally familiar with the size of the Pentax 67 camera. One spot I found online stated it was 6.97 x3.97 x3.58 . If that is correct then it will have no problem fitting into the case. The internal dimensions of the case including the padded dividers are 19.5 x10.5 x6 I think you should easily be able to fit a couple of cameras and other accessories as well. There is also a version of this case with a lid organizer instead of foam if that interests you. The model number for that is 3i-2011-7DL. Thank you,Will

Q: 2. Is this a TSA-approved overhead bin size (like the Pelican 1510 and 1535)? I already have issues with my over-stuffed Think Tank Airport Security bag.

A: The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm), including handles and wheels.

Q: 3. The depth seems like it might be a bit short. Will this hold full-sized DSLRs like the 1Dx and the 5Ds with battery grip? I have a Think Tank Airport Security and am always hassled by the gate agents.

A: The depth of this case is 10", which should be more than enough for a Canon 5Ds with a battery grip to sit upright.

Q: 4. Is this case deep enough to hold a NIKON D610 with battery drive without the lid having to be closed with pressure?. In other words, easily?

A: Harvey, I have an SKB 2217-10, and don't have a D610.The bottom section on mine is 9 deep, without compressing the bottom of the Thinktank inserts. The top lid accounts for about 3/4' of the advertised depth, the Thinktank bottom about 1/4' uncompressed.This lends me to believe that the 2011-7 likely has a depth of 6 to 6 1/4 before the top foam would begin to touch the camera. You can measure the D610 plus battery pack + bottom bracket if you have one. I can however speak to the quality of the SKB/Thinktank Combo. It's excellent. Rugged, sufficient lock clasps (for TSA or other locks). Check the B&H, SKB and Thinktank sites for all the models. (Each site doesn't have all the model sizes.)I put the Thinktank lid case in mine instead of the foam, very handy for laptops.Good luck.

After receiving this case, I was very impressed with the quality. Also had no trouble finding a perfect sized lock for it at the local hardware store. This case does look even smaller in person than in photographs, but I didn't need anything huge, just pay attention to the measurements in the item description. 5

I bought this case for a valuable S&W 27-2 with a 3.5 inch barrel, and it is a perfect fit. Protection from damage and moisture, secure locking system, and as durable as they come. I would recommend Pelican products for any storage uses. They make a fine portable light as well, as well as handlights for divers. All pros, no cons. I also have my Canon SX130IS digital stored in a Pelican case as well. 5

I'm a documentary filmmaker who does a lot of traveling and I appreciate the security of my footage above all else. My primary backup drive is a 4tb G-raid (one of the newer ones that is the same size as the 2tb older model). I was pleased to find that my drive fits perfectly in this case. Fantastic! The only words of wisdom I can offer is that you should perhaps put one or two of those moisture absorbing silica packets from beef jerky in there to absorb any extra humidity and make your drive smell like beef jerky. 5

I use this case to store RF packs and hand-held wireless microphones. The peel and pluck foam works great, but it is a tight fit for the larger shure brand RF packs we have. Great case for the price, use it for whatever needs to be kept safe. *Make sure to use the smaller measurements given as the inside measurement, unless you plan on taking the foam out of the top and bottom. 5
