A: It does, absolutely. I have a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Lens that works great with that adapter, i use it to attach that lens to my Sony a6000 as well. It'll work great as along as the Nikon lens is an F mount.
