A: We're afraid not. The monitor is powered by Sony L Series batteries. The DMW-BLF19 is a Battery Dummy that allow you to power cameras from the Panasonic GH5S to the GH3 off of the monitor's power.

A: This monitor has an integrated battery plate for Sony L style batteries.

A: It will not. You would need the SmallHD FOCUS 5" Base HDMI On-Camera Monitor instead as the 5D Mark II only has an HDMI output, BH #SMMONFOCUSB.

A: According to SmallHD it does not. For UHD the only frame rates listed are 30, 29.97, 24 and 23.98. However it does accept PAL frame rates in HD frame rates and in general cameras that shoot UHD are able to output HD only even while shooting UHD. You will still be able to us this monitor with PAL cameras.

Q: 10. Can this also be used as an hdr color grading monitor on the go?

A: No - not in my opinion, not enough panel pixels and only 1080 aspect as well. Plus not a calibrated colourspace. I use this this on our small docu camera every week and it is fantastic at that but I also use the latest 4K Eizo grading monitors in post every week and I can only imagine the mess I would make trying to post off the focus monitor!

This is a great product. Yes you can write on the screen, but now I feel like I’m back to “normal” with writing. I had no idea we’d receive two screens, which is a bonus! You should make that MUCH clearer - so the purchaser doesn’t have to worry about a mistake; we also think we are getting a good deal :) Such amazing communication from your company. Especially during our 2020 global events. Highly recommend :) 5

I found Paperlike by coincidence but writing on my iPad as if it was paper was a long-held wish of mine. Delivery was super-fast and applying the foil to the iPad was more than easy. I‘m over the moon with this product as the quality of the screen isn’t less and the feeling when I use my pencil is fantastic! 5

It gives a realistic feeling of a paper surface. Useful (and pleasant) when you're used to paper writing/sketching and wish to transit to an iPad. 5
