The 1400W PSA1S Paraline Series 12" Active Subwoofer from Yorkville Sound is a dual 12" bass reflex subwoofer that comes with flyware and is best paired with the PSA1 full range loudspeaker system (sold separately). Its solid 15mm birch plywood cabinet construction and an integrated all-metal pole-mount adaptor make the PSA1S an ideal platform for stacking PSA1 cabinets in a scalable array system. Compact design and heavy-duty wheels & handles ensure the PSA1S can easily be handled by a single operator for economical system set-up.

Efficient Class-D power amplifier design provides long-term reliability. Capable of direct connection to any audio source (including speaker level input) the PSA1S can be easily integrated in to virtually any PA application, making it very versatile.

The PSA1S Subwoofer uses Yorkville Sound's Heavy Duty Precision Stand Adaptor. In order to minimize top cabinet sway and provide an improved standmount platform for multiple PSA1 cabinets, the PSA1S subwoofer standmount adapter uses a thick-walled cast aluminum stand receiver with a wide mounting plate.

Precision machining after casting allows high tolerances, improving the stand adaptor and providing a more stable and secure pole mount system for mobile Paraline systems when used in combination with the Yorkville SW-TUBEHD Heavy Duty all-steel subwoofer tube (not included).

Q: 8. What is the difference with the flying model sub. Mainly, where do the eye bolts affix to? Are there bolt holes on the flying model sub that the PSA1S doesn't have.

A: They are flown by added rigging hardware, it is metal pieces that attach to the subwoofer that allow it to be flown. It does not have eye bolt connections.

Q: 9. Would this be a good choice to pair with the 8050A (LRC) and the 8040A (Ls,Rs) for a 5.1 setup in a 15x10 room?

A: The Genelec 7360APM would be a better choice by the specs because it goes down to 19Hz, giving you a lower frequency response. However, your room is not too large, and you may not be driving the 8050 and 8040 monitors to their full volume potential. Since the 7360APM is a SAM sub (DSP/GLM-network enabled and ready for 7.1) it's price point is higher.
