Black Rapid doesn't like to mention competitors by name, therefore I assuming that's why they don't specify Black Rapid straps as being compatible. The SpiderPro Hand Strap is extremely comfortable and far superior to other hand straps I have tried. Someone finally got the hand strap right. My only complaint, and a minor one at that, is that the washer that holds the Hand Strap in place under the Black Rapid FastenR is silver rather than black.Maybe I'll post a photo later if I'm able to amend my answer so you can see the two together.

A: Most of us have trips mounts attached to the bottom of our cameras. It is designed to slip between the camera body and tripod mount and then tighten your tripod mount down to the camera once adjusted so that it is comfortable.
