This Kipon Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Mamiya 645 Lens to GFX permits them to be used with FUJIFILM GFX series medium format camera bodies. Please note that after mounting the adapter, while infinity focus is available, only manual mode will be accessible in shooting. This adapter features a 360° free rotation in addition to a fluid 15mm shifting function that provides the user with more compositional control. The shift function minimizes any size distortions that may result from objects being seen at an angle. When located in its default resting position, the adapter can be used like any other standard non-shift adapter. To adjust the shift of the adapter, hold down the silver trigger and slide the moving component to desired length. Once adjusted, release the trigger to fix into place.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a t2 style which allows rotational adjustment between the two ends?

A: Yes, you can use the 3 set screws on the adapter ring to adjust the rotation of the lens.

Q: 2. HelloIf I use this RZ mount to Canon EF to Fuji GFX with Mamiya - Sekor Fisheye Z 37mm f4.4W lens can it cover the whole frame?Thank you

A: The adapter should give you full frame coverage.

Q: 3. Will the leaf shutter in the Mamiya 7 lens be triggered when using this product? Or will the GFX camera body's shutter be used?

A: As per the manufacturer, this adapter unlocks the leaf shutter on a Mamiya 7, which will then allow you utilize the shutter in the GFX camera.

Q: 4. Can this be used with an extension tube?

A: This product has not been tested along with extension tubes to our knowledge. Your results may vary.

Q: 5. Is there a correction factor for effective focal length. Does (for example) a 105 mm lens still have a 105 viewing angle? Thanks

A: The adapter itself does not change the lens. But in general a RZ/RB lens, has a factor attaching it to a Full frame or APS-C DSLR camera.Full frame DSLR with a RZ/RB lens is 2.1 times factor and than if you use it on an APS-C sensor it is another approximately 1.5 times factor.Example: 80mm RZ lens, 80 x 2.1 = 168mm lens for full frame DSLR. And for APS-C, 168 x 1.5 = 252mm lens.

Q: 6. Does this have a 42mm thread?

A: Yes, the threading on the Vello T-Mount Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera Lens Adapter measures 42mm.

Q: 7. Will this work with the GFX100?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. what adapter do I need to attatch a Nikon z adapter to my Fuji xt3? ive been looking for 2 hrs now and cant seem to find where it is

A: If you're looking to adapt Nikon Z mount lenses to a Fuji X mount camera it is not possible. The flange distance (space from the lens mount to the sensor surface) in the Nikon is 16mm and the Fuji is 17.7mm therefore you'd need to mount the Nikon lens inside the camera to have the optics function properly.

Q: 9. Shutter release will not work with XT3

A: You need to turn on the "Shoot w/o Lens" menu option in your camera, as the adapter has no electronic contacts confirming with your X-T3 that you have a lens mounted.

Q: 10. Hi Can i use this adapter with my Mamiya rz 75mm tilt&shift lens?

A: The FotodioX Mamiya RB/RZ67 Lens to FUJIFILM G-Mount Camera Pro Lens Mount Adapter is compatible with the Mamiya SEKOR SHIFT Z 75mm f/4.5 Lens.

I can't get over the value of this lens. My primary reason for purchasing this was to have a full frame wide angle lens for my 5d on the glidecam. It has not disappointed. This a great lens for both video and photography

Great lens for the price. CA is almost completely non-existant. Very sharp. Yeah it's a bit of a challenge to focus (you need to use Live View), but once you get the hang of it, this lens is really a no brainer if you're looking for an ultra wide.

This is an awesome ultra wide angle lens. I couldn't afford the Canon 14mm 2.8 II so I picked this up instead, after reading that it is a really great lens. It's very sharp from corner to corner. It also solid, has a very nice build quality. I dont mind the manual focus so muc because I mostly have it on a tripod with live view at 10x. I think the only con is the whisker like distortion. If you take pictures of objects that have horizontal lines, they get distorted. But this is easily correctable in lightroom and photoshop. I'd highly recommend this lens to anyone wanting an ultra wide angle.

I use this lens for Astrophotography. Manual focusing is very important. I attach a millimeter scale to the lens Focus Scaline Ring. I use a lens band to prevent creep. Auto focus lenses do not work very well at night, and manual focusing them is not easy. They are not designed for manual focusing. Some of these lenses have focus rings that slip. The focus scale may be under plastic. This results in Parallax error. Most Autofocus lenses also require a lens band to prevent creep.

I've used this lens for a few weeks now on a T2i. My camera isn't full-frame so I'm not taking full advantage of it. I'm sure it's mind blowing on a full-frame though. That said, it's still great to have it. I'll definitely be hanging onto this lens for a while for when I have a full-frame body. This the first fully manual lens that I've used in a while so it took a little bit of getting used to. But that wasn't a big deal at all. I still manage to pop off shots fairly quickly if I'm ready for them. This is the first wide angle lens I've played with. I'm really loving the exaggerated distance and the cool shots that it makes. I did a lot of homework on this lens. For the price, you can't beat it.
