Optimized for long-range use in challenging light and environmental conditions, the 45° angled-viewing BRESSER Condor 20-60x85 Spotting Scope will be your constant companion at the range, up a stand, in a blind, or anywhere else you glass.
This scope employs anti-reflection fully multi-coated lens surfaces and a BAK4 Porro prism system that work together to produce bright and clear tack-sharp, high-contrast images with accurate color fidelity across the entire field of view. Ideal for long-range use, the broad zoom range allows you to take in a wide field of view for general viewing purposes, with the ability to draw distant subjects in close for more detailed observations. To ensure views remain bright, even when viewing subjects at extremely long range on maximum magnification, this Condor is outfitted with a massive 85mm objective. The light-gathering capability of the lens also pushes the usability from the pre-dawn hours all the way past sunset and into late dusk and makes it ideal for amateur astronomers to enjoy the moon, satellite watching, or comet hunting. The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the optical tube and the tripod mounting collar allows the whole scope to rotate, so you can precisely place the eyepiece in the optimal position whether you are standing, sitting, or lying prone.
To withstand the rigors of the trail, range, or blind, BRESSER built the chassis out of a combination of aluminum and plastic and wrapped it in a protective rubber armor. Its optical tube is sealed to be waterproof so you can stay out if the weather turns wet or snowy. A retractable sunshade prevents lens flares that can spook game and keeps rain and snow off the objective to ensure clear views in less-than-ideal weather. BRESSER includes a custom stay-on/view-through nylon case that makes setup and breakdown on a tripod or other support system fast and easy while adding another layer of protection and providing the ability to react quickly when opportunities present themselves.
Built for performance with construction details and accessories to make it comfortable and easy to use, the Condor 20-60x85 will become an welcome addition to your hunting, birding, or shooting kit.

Q: 1. How does an attached DSLR balance with the adapter? Seems that would over-torque the connection. I have a Nikon D750.
A: Hi Robert. I am sorry but I have not yet tried the endeavor with my DSLR or any other camera. As far as the quality of the lens itself from a mechanical and optical standpoint it as been first rate. Bill
Q: 2. Hi, I have Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III, what kind of adapter can use for this camera, for full frame pictures?
A: The Vixen Optics SLR Camera Adapter G will work with the Vello Lens Mount Adapter - T Mount Lens to Canon EOS Camera. Website link to Vixen: http://bhpho.to/29o5pgyWebsite link to T-Ring: http://bhpho.to/1l1cqn1
Q: 3. If the 60mm objective lens is recessed for shade and protection, are there any vignetting issues?
A: Yes the lens is recessed about 1 inch on the Celestron LandScout 12-36x60 Spotting Scope. It does not vignette the view.
Q: 4. Which eyepiece and tripod do you recommend for this scope?
A: It comes with the 13-30X zoom eyepiece. Since we use it as a packable scope for birding and we don't use it for digi-scoping, the zoom eyepiece is the most appropriate choice. We also use a lightweight and compact Manfotto 4-section tripod, because we can fit it into a backpack. It seems stable enough on all but the strongest winds.
Q: 5. Can this scope be used with a Sony A6000. Is a T adapter available?
A: That is not a problem. All you would need is the Vello T-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Adapter. Website link: https://bhpho.to/2crVPMn
Q: 6. Can this scope could be used with a Canon t6i for digiscoping?
A: Yes you can do the Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Canon DSLR Cameras.Website link: http://bhpho.to/1lbpWak
Q: 7. Is is possible to mount a Nikon D600 or D700 on this with an adapter?
A: As I understand it, this scope can be used with any major DSLR camera. It comes with a T ring that screws right onto threads on the ocular end of the eyepiece (remove eye cup to reveal threads, but eyepiece itself stays in place). All you need in addition is a camera mount specific t adapter (available from B&H for less than $10 for my Canon EOS mount DSLRs). I assume the above Nikons are DSLRs, so just ask for the appropriate T adapter ring. The camera body can then be attached to the scope, just as you would attach any lens. Hope this helps.
Q: 8. If used with Nikon D810 (FF) and appropriate adapter, what would be the effective focal length at the widest (20x) setting? Thanks.
A: Like using a 1,000mm lense at 20X
Q: 9. Which adapter would you recommend for the Regal M2 80ED to use with Nikon D810? Thanks
A: I would recommend the Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Nikon DSLR Cameras BH #NOUA00NI01 • MFR #UA-00NI-01 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1007579-REG/novagrade_ua_00ni_01_nikon_camera_universal_adapter.html
Q: 10. Are there adapters for digiscoping w/ a Nikon DSLR (D750, perhaps)?
A: Yes you will need a T Mount for your camera for digiscoping. This is the B&H part number for the T ring for your camera, B&H#KOTMN. When you get the T ring home before you can start digiscoping. You will need to take the lens off your camera and screw the T ring in it's place. The only other thing you will need is an adapter for the telescope you are using. The adapter will depend on the telescope you have. After you get the correct adapter attach it to the telescope and screw the camera onto the adapter. Then start shooting.
