The black AP-270 Celviano 88-Key Digital Piano from Casio features a Tri-Sensor, scaled hammer action keyboard II, simulated ebony and ivory keys, a built-in 16W (8W + 8W) amplifier, and two speakers that are designed in a traditional furniture style cabinet with matching piano bench and music rest. It can be used when a traditional grand piano is impractical. This compact yet elegant cabinet for beginners to professionals can complement any space.

The AP-270 includes two updated stereo grand piano tones that come alive with realistic damper resonance, simulating the entire body of the instrument. The hammer action piano keys give you an incredibly realistic and natural feel. The speakers are conveniently located for an optimal listening experience and are crystal-clear across the entire audio spectrum.

Furthermore, the AP-270 is ideal for practice and performance but also for lesson environments. It features two sets of headphones using 1/4" jacks on the front panel. This allows for quiet practice too. Duet mode splits the piano into two equal pitch ranges, allowing a student and teacher to sit at the same instrument.

Other features include: 60-song built-in music library, 2-track MIDI recorder, USB to PC/MAC/iOS/Android device port, and free Chordana Play for Piano app. Everything you need is available to play right out of the box with an easy setup and unnecessary bells and whistles.

The AP-270 includes two updated stereo grand piano tones, which come alive with realistic damper resonance, simulating the entire body of the instrument, not just the strings. The AP-270 also features a stunning New York grand piano tone, with a wide dynamic range suitable for many genres. In addition to pianos, the AP-270 features a variety of 19 instrument tones with the ability to layer and split them as needed.

The Tri-Sensor II scaled hammer action piano keys give you a realistic and natural feel. The simulated ebony and ivory textures complete the experience, combined with an innovative hammer action that is accurately scaled across the entire key range. Adjustable touch sensitivity allows customization to suit any playing style, and adjustable hammer response accurately reproduces the delay between when the key is struck, and when a note is produced.

The AP-270 includes a powerful stereo amplification system. The speakers are conveniently located for an optimal listening experience and are crystal-clear across the entire audio spectrum. The AP-270's design conceals the speakers from obvious view, preserving the natural aesthetic of a wooden instrument.

The digital piano is not only ideal for practice and performance, but also for lesson environments. You can connect two sets of headphones using the 1/4" jacks on the front panel allowing quiet practice. Duet Mode splits the piano into two equal pitch ranges, allowing a student and teacher to sit at the same instrument.

The built-in music library contains 60 songs, with room for ten additional songs of your choice. You can also record your performances using the AP-270's two-track MIDI recorder.

Thoughtfully designed to complement any decor, the AP-270 is available in either black, white, or walnut and includes a matching bench. Its compact cabinet with sliding key cover adds to the beauty of any room.

The AP-270 connects via class-compliant USB to any personal computer with Windows or Mac operating systems, or any iOS or Android device with no drivers or installations needed.

The free Chordana Play for Piano app available for iOS and Android devices gives you complete control over every function in your piano. It displays PDF scores, lets you play downloadable MIDI songs using your piano's internal sounds and speaker system, and helps you learn to play MIDI songs with an interactive scoring system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello, does this kit come with the clamp that fits the para to the Light Stand? if it doesn't, what part is it that I would need to order? thanks

A: Yes, this kit includes the standard tilt stand adapter to mount the Para to either a standard Baby (5/8 ) or Junior stand.

Q: 2. Can I mount a profoto prohead on this para?

A: Yes, a Profoto lamp can be mounted to the Focusing Rod F using Broncolor Para Adapter for Profoto (BH #BRPAP88FB / MFR #B-33.489.0).

Q: 3. can I attach a magnet to the jobo 2520 tank base ?

A: It is possible to attach a magnet to the base of the Jobo Multi Tank 2 (270 mL), although it's not designed with that in mind.

Q: 4. What's the meaning of off camera mode on one of the picture? Does it mean it can be used handheld?

A: I'm not sure what they mean - but they include an adapter for an XLR plugin which can be used with portable digital recorders and they have an adapter for the 3.5mm plug which can plug into the DSLR models that have a microphone plug. One is on camera and one is off camera - so maybe that's what they mean? You cannot capture audio without plugging it into some type of recording device - it is not a stand alone microphone/recorder.

Q: 5. Would this (and siros inside) be OK on a matthews c-stand or would I need to get something like a baby jr for indoor use?

A: The Broncolor Tilt Head with Crank for Para Reflectors B&H # BRTHPFB is needed to mount this Para to a stand, but that stand needs to be one with a junior receiver such as the Manfrotto 008BU Black Cine Stand - 7' B&H # MA3071B. https://bhpho.to/2zgVTXA

Q: 6. does it come with the inversion lid?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Can I mount a Siros L on the back of it, like on a regular softbox?

A: No, due to the construction of the Siros L, the Para 88 reflector cannot be mounted to the front of the lamp.

Q: 8. How good is the XLR to 3.5mm cable? Could this potentially work with the Zoom H1 without too much hiss?

A: Hi the XLR to 3.5mm cable works, but you would want to replace it straight away. Very little cost to do this, couple of Dollars. The mic works well and you can phantom power it (48v), or runs a very long time on one AA battery. I use a Zoom H1 and had no problems. There is a design fault with the mic switch. I have bought three and use all of them but the switch disintegrates if you don't take lots of care with it.Best to run it on phantom power then you don't need to operate the switch. Of course not possible with a Zoom H1

Q: 9. In the second photo above, there is a light mounted from the back like a regular softbox. Does that mean you can put Siros or other broncolor lights considering they all have the same front mount. Someone above (dan) has said that you cant. Can this point be clarified please?

A: According to the overview, "this version of the [Broncolor Para 88] is rear-firing and has an F-type rod, meaning that its optional flash head points in towards the back of the reflector. Those looking for front firing should purchase the FT rod or a kit that comes with it." Unfortunately, it seems those items/kits are no longer available with us.

Q: 10. Aside the Pulso Head adapter is there something else I should consider buying? Like this Focusing Device 33.504.00 for example. Is it necessary?

A: No additional items besides the Para Adapter for Pulso is required for operation of the para, however, accessory diffusion or light grids could be considered.
