A: I have a bowens strobe light, but the bowens speed ring made by Impact does not fit on the bowens strobe because the base of the speedring is not deep enough, and, therefore, blocks the pin from clicking and locking the speedring around the strobe. The base (neck) of the Impact speedring needs some shaving with a router. I'm thinking of shaving some metal at the base of the speedring to make more clearance.
