The 20" MXC420/C Gooseneck Microphone from Shure is a cardioid microphone for use with the Microflex Complete (MXC) digital conference system and the Microflex Complete Wireless (MXCW) conference system (sold separately). This MXC gooseneck mic has a flexible section at the bottom and a straight section at the top to provide easy adjustment while maintaining a streamlined appearance in meetings and conferences.

In addition, the MX-series microphone cartridge delivers accurate voice capture and offers CommShield technology that rejects RF noise. An integrated bi-color LED indicates the microphone status. The microphone is detachable with a 10-pin modular connector. When used with compatible conference units, the MXC420/C microphone can be locked with a hex key to prevent unauthorized removal.

A: The MV5 is connected to an iPad via the included micro USB to lightning cable. This is also how the MV5 receives power. The headphone jack you notice on the MV5 is instead used for monitoring the microphone's audio when in use, but will not output an audio signal unless the MV5 is being powered via USB connection to an active mobile device.
