A front rocker switch with momentary contacts (normally open SPST) plus rear barrier strip termination blocks for momentary (normally open) remote switches are onboard. The switch initializes the delayed startup sequence, activating the switched outlets in four steps, plus any remote power controls (RPCs) connected to the rear terminal block as steps five and six. A green LED flashes while the unit is powering up and holds steady when the cycle is complete. The switch also initializes the delayed shutdown sequence, deactivating RPCs and outlets in reverse order. A red LED flashes while the unit is powering down and holds steady when the cycle is complete. The delay between steps can be adjusted with a screwdriver (0.5 to 10 seconds).

The plug-in barrier-strip terminal-block inputs on the rear of the panel allow external controls to activate and deactivate the switched outlets. The terminal block output allows this panel to control remote RPC units.

  • Left Terminal Block: Input from alarm system—lock on, lock off, and switch lock for an alarm system or master control panel.
  • Center Terminal Block: Output to Remote Power Control (RPC)—external RPC series devices can be controlled when connected to the center terminal block. The connected RPCs would activate/deactivate as steps 5 and 6.
  • Right Terminal Block: Input from Remote Switch—connect a remote switch with momentary closure.
  • Nine total marked NEMA outlets—one unswitched on the front, two unswitched on the rear, six switched on the rear
  • 20A circuit breaker.
  • Rear termination blocks accommodate remote switches, external triggers, and an alarm system interface for use where mandated by fire code.
  • The compact steel chassis with black powder epoxy finish is designed to occupy minimal rack space.

Q: 1. Will it work with the E-M1 Mark iii?

A: YES, see page 24 of E-M1 Mark III manual https://learnandsupport.getolympus.com/sites/default/files/media/files/2020/02/E-M1Mk3_ENU_00.pdf

Q: 4. Does this work with 26V batteries?

A: The SmallHD V-Mount Power Kit is not compatible with 26V batteries. A 26V compatible kit would be the SmallHD 14V/26V Dual Battery Bracket (V-Mount), BH #SMPWRPB4K2VM.

Q: 5. Hi! Am I able to power my Dracast LED1000 with this accessory?

A: Unfortunately, the POWER POD is really made for less power hungry devices such as small cameras and their accessories. While you could get a cable and connect the POWER POD Quad LP-E6 to the LED1000, we would recommend against it. The POWER PODs maximum watt hour rating of 53Wh would last a little more than half as much as a 98wh V-mount or Gold Mount battery. This is the reason the Dracast LED1000 is designed to work with V-mount and Gold Mount batteries. One example of such a battery is the Switronix XP-L90A 14.8 VDC Lithium Ion Brick Battery B&H # SWXPL90A.

Q: 6. Can this item be used with others laptop as Asus etc.?

A: There is no way of knowing the shape and layout of your Asus optical drive bracket which is what this device replaces. It's possible, but you'd have to open up your Asus and have a look. the data and power cable connections will be the same but the shape, size, and mounting points of the Asus bracket may differ. You may want to use an external drive if your skills and tool set for working on laptops is limited.

Q: 7. is there a 3.5mm or 1/4" jack for radio slaves/pocket wizards?

Q: 8. Are the cables on the heads detachable? Or are they permanently attached to the heads?

A: The heads can be detached from the packs but the cables are permanently attached to the heads.

Q: 9. each flash can fire with 2400w each when plugged together ?

A: The total power of the P2400 is 2400 watt/sec, but you would get that amount of power when a single head is connected. Two connected heads would split the power in half.

Q: 10. Can I use this divider kit for the 1606 Pelican air?
