The Sennheiser EK 2000-IEM is a wireless bodypack receiver for in-ear monitoring compatible with 2000 Series wireless transmitters. Combined with the included IE 4 earphones, it delivers reliable, professional-quality stereo audio for the rough-and-tumble world of everyday stage life.

The EK 2000-IEM utilizes adaptive-diversity technology, along with the earphone cable as a second antenna to greatly reduce and eliminate drop-outs. The receiver also features proprietary HDX compander technology, which provides crystal-clear monitoring your live performance.

Setup is a cinch with the frequency-scan function that automatically finds clean frequencies at your location and wireless synchronization of receiver parameters from the transmitter. You also get a Hi Boost function, an adjustable limiter, stereo/focus mode, and selectable balance. The user-friendly menu interface with a backlit graphic display, which includes a 4-stage battery status indicator. An auto-lock feature prevents unwanted tampering of your settings.

The compact and rugged EK 2000-IEM features an all-metal design that's comfortable for performers and presenters to wear over extended periods. It operates up to 6 hours on two AA batteries.

A: Any external audio source, such as CD player etc.

A: Unfortunately this model does not have the ability for USB connection to an iPod or Smartphone. The USB port in the back is meant for Service and Firmware updates. You will need a Mini to RCA cable to connect either device to this Receiver.

Q: 4. Will it work in Israel? Here the input power is 120 VAC, 60 Hz but in Israel, it's 220 VAC, 50 Hz

A: No, unless you use a transformer. As the Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver, has voltage support of 120 VAC, 60 Hz.

Q: 5. Is it good for folly too ?

A: Yes the MKH418S is an excellent model to consider for foley recording.

Q: 6. Are you able to use one of the connections for a sub-out?

A: While there are no dedicated sub-outs, it is possible to connect a subwoofer to one of the channels, say B, have two speaker connected to channel A, and operate the receiver in A+B mode. The user manuals of this receiver and SA-CS9 subwoofer can provide further detail.

A: Replaced the antenna on my G2 and it works great!

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. What is the output impedance of the headphone jack? I'm wondering I will need a separate headphone amp.

A: The output impedance is not provide by the manufacture for the Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver BH #SOSTRDH190.

Q: 10. Does it fit the DPA RYCOTE WINDSHIELD RWK4017B??

Perfect for a basic setup. I use it for just a 2 speaker phono setup to play vinyl, and I can still Bluetooth music from our phones. I only wish the speaker wire connectors would accept banana plugs. 5

Bought it to set up an old phono player and it works great! It's bigger than expected so check your shelf size if you want to hide it. We didn't so it sits on top but really looks just fine and is easier to get to so all-in-all I'm fine. Love the bluetooth option!!! Easy to hook up and has good range...our receiver is set up downstairs and it stays hooked up even as I roam around upstairs. We can crank the tunes and my teens love it! The radio range also is good even though set up in basement get all the stations when my hubby wants to listen to games. 5
