A: You can focus through the EVF2, like you would focus with an SLR. The image is quite bright, covers approx. 100% of the image, and does not interfere with the range/view finder of the camera. Also it provides information on exposure, etc. I have been very pleased with it.

It is similar to the optical viewfinder of a DSLR. The negative is that it occupies the flash shoe thereby restricted to ambient light unless you get and SCA cable and the handgrip.
