Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this work with a Sony @6000?

A: This item is generally meant to attach (screw or clamp)to a tripod or object in order to hold lighting, flashes and accessories. You can purchase a number of accessories for this item that will allow you to hold a multitude of additional objects. One such item is a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter that which should fit the standard 1/4 mount thread found on most cameras. In any case I found this item to be great buy and a fine addition to any camera bag!

Q: 2. Hello, Does anyone know if you can use this with the Leica M mono?

A: Actually, yes for the new mono, no for the original one.

Q: 3. is this compatible with fujifilm x-a1 model?

A: sorry i wouldn't know I just know that it works my my xvario .Thanks

Q: 4. Regarding the focusing through the EVF, 2 opposite answers can be found above. So can we focus through it or we have to Focus through the camera's view finder ?

A: You can focus through the EVF2, like you would focus with an SLR. The image is quite bright, covers approx. 100% of the image, and does not interfere with the range/view finder of the camera. Also it provides information on exposure, etc. I have been very pleased with it.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with the Leica X Vario?

A: Yes, the Visoflex works great with my X Vario. It's a must have.

Q: 6. Can this flash be triggered in multi mode (rapid continuous shooting) by FC-WR commander)?

A: The Olympus FL-700WR Electronic Flash supports rapid continuous shooting up to 10 fps at 1/16 power for approximately 50 consecutive frames when used with the OM-D E-M1X or E-M1 Mark II cameras. This will work with the FC-WR commander.

Q: 7. Can this flash be triggered in multi mode (rapid continuous shooting) by FC-WR commander?

A: The multi-mode can only be used while the flash is on an Olympus camera that supports this function.

Q: 8. does this enable you to do true TTL shooting?

A: My experience with EVF2 is with M (240). It effectively allow you to shoot TTL without the mirror slap. It has all the functions of the LCD screen at the back of the camera. It is similar to the optical viewfinder of a DSLR. The negative is that it occupies the flash shoe thereby restricted to ambient light unless you get and SCA cable and the handgrip. Q: 9. Is the clamp big enough to attach to the legs of a RRS tripod? Legs have a 5 circumference.

A: No, not with the clamp supplied with the arm. It is really designed to be used with a Manfrotto tripod that has a threaded Easy Link 3/8 socket milled into the spyder. However, a Super Clamp will secure it to a tripod leg, with a considerable weight penalty.

Q: 10. Is the body made of metal like the camera body or is it plastic?

A: The body of the Sigma EVF-11 Electronic Viewfinder is made of a mix of metal and plastic parts.

As usual good fit and finish from Manfrotto. Nice small, but sturdy articulated arm for mounting Digital Director bracket and any other flash or accessory with 1/4 thread. Nice, portable and functional.

Earlier I bought a cheaper arm that had trouble holding my Ikan 7" monitor with a Sony battery. This arm does the trick. Very easy set-up.

SO I am slow to write to reviews because I am pretty critical with my investments and expect to last a long time and be easy to use. I have three Manfrotto tripods and 4 heads. This was $40-50 more then I wanted to pay for it. Extra Clip was easy to justify but in hind sight I would pass and get the Arm by itself. NOW for the good Stuff -- It is super easy to adjust and the whole things moves at once -- total unexpected. NO more move one angle then the other then yet another.. Just attached the base to tripod or to clip -attached monitor... Now just loosen the the little arm and move freely in most any direction and you are SET. BRAVO Manfrotto

Love this little guy. I bought an extra friction end to work with my digital director. Now it locks up solid.
