Capture smooth, dynamic sweeping pans and camera rises with the Orion DVC200 8' Camera Crane/Jib from ProAm USA. Supporting loads up to 8 lb, the 8' arm adds 5' of reach from the fulcrum point, with an optional 4' extension available for additional length. It is constructed from 1" and 2" aluminum tubing, setting up quickly and without tools to benefit on-location productions. At the end of your shoot, the jib breaks down into two 4' long sections for easier travel and storage. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used for either the canon XA-10 or XF-105 Camcorder?

A: The ProAm USA Orion DVC210 Camera Crane can take a payload of 10 lbs. the XA10 is approximately 3 lbs and the XF105 4 lbs in working order so you are good to go with either camera.

Q: 2. Can this be used with the Sony FX6? If so how do we see what we’re filming?

A: Yes, the Sony FX6 can be used with the ProAm USA Orion DVC200 12' Camera Crane Production Package. To monitor footage, you can run a HDMI or SDI to a mounted screen, or you can use a wireless video transmission system.

Q: 3. Can the head tilt so camera can be perpendicular to ground?

A: The ProAm USA Orion 8' DVC210 Crane alone will not allow you to point the camera 90 deg towards the ground. However if you add a Video head you will be able to achieve this. Example head idea BH #BES4PRO

Q: 4. Can this be used to mount the canon 5d mark iv and canon 80d?

A: Yes it can. The Orion DVX210 has an 8 pound load capacity, which is more than enough to handle DSLRs like the 5D Mark IV and 80D.

Q: 5. what is the item weight

A: The weight of the box that this kit comes in is 30 pounds.

Q: 6. HI CAN IT'S WORK WITH SONY FS1 SUPER 35 ?

A: Yes, the ProAm USA Orion DVC210 12' Camera Crane can support up to 10lbs effectively.

Q: 7. Reference 6th photo of DVC 210 crane/jib. Can someone identify the tilt head in the photo?

A: According to ProAm, this is the Micro Fluid Head 3126 by Manfrotto - which is unfortunately no longer sold by B&H. A similar alternative to this item is the Manfrotto 128RC MA128RC (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/553886-REG/Manfrotto_128RC_128RC_QR_Micro_Fluid.html)

Q: 8. Does this jib have the ability to tilt while in use?

A: Camera can auto-tilt to remain level, or the user can remove a pin to manually tilt the camera.

Q: 9. If I want to use this jib to hoist a Canon XA-25 camera in as straight up a configuration as possible to get above a high center field fence for baseball/softball approximately how high off the ground can we get this camera including the fact that it is on a stand?

A: The Tripod that comes in this set has a max height of 6 feet. the Jib Arm with extension has a max reach of 9 Feet from the fulcrum. Therefore if you have the Jib Arm straight up you can get a max height of 15 Feet.

Q: 10. How much counterweight would I need to make this feel floating without the camera? Can't seem to find an answer. Thanks

A: It would really depend on the payload that you chose to work with. And this is different for every user. It uses plate weights or Dumbell weights that you would find in Sporting Stores.
