Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this the cartridge/casing I need to put an SSD card into so it will fit into the NSB-25?

A: Yes this is the correct item for using a SSD with the NSB-25.

Q: 2. Can it receive a stream from a Constellation 1ME (using the USB webcam feature) or is it still only compatible w/ ISO + Pro?

A: The Blackmagic Design ATEM Streaming Bridge for ATEM Mini Pro Streaming Switchers is only compatible with the Atem Mini Pro and Atem Extreme switchers from Blackmagic.

Q: 3. Can a RTMP feed be sent to this device from a source other than the ATEM Mini Pro?

A: That is not possible, this is only compatible with the ATEM Mini Pro and ATE Mini Pro ISO.

Q: 4. For a client that has a Mini Pro, and a Mini Pro Extreme - am I correct in assuming we can take the ethernet out of the Extreme to the Bridge; an HDMI out to the Mini Pro so that we can stream? Then, do lobby monitors get fed only through SDI, or can the network also pick up the feed and send it to specific monitors?

A: The ATEM Mini Extreme's Ethernet output may be sent to the Streaming Bridge, so that an HDMI output may then be routed to the ATEM Mini Pro for the streaming process. ATEM Streaming Bridge units will be required to receive the Extreme's video output so that it may be converted to the desired connectivity protocol.

Q: 5. The MVH 502AH fluid video head comes with two 3/8-inch accessory attachment points, one on each side of the bridge. How do these attachment points work when the Kirk replacement bridge is installed?

A: Please e-mail us: askbh@bandh.com or call:

Q: 6. Will this unit operate when directly connected to an ATEM switcher with an ethernet cable?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 7. How does this work through the internet? Is a static IP address required for this device? I'd like to install this at my studio and take my ATEM Mini Pro out to remote locations, sending the signal back to the studio for broadcast through our established infrastructure. Is this possible?

A: Yes that will work. You can use static or dynamic IP. The Bridge setup utility will create an XML file with the necessary connection information that you will import into the ATEM. Assuming ports are set and available this will easily work.

Q: 8. Do you make a QR release bridge system for Manfrotto MVH504X?

A: Unfortunately, Kirk Photo does not manufacture a Quick Release Bridge System for the Manfrotto MVH 504X Head. They only offer the Kirk Quick Release Bridge System for Manfrotto MVH 500 Fluid Video Head, B&H # KIVH500BQRV2, or the Kirk Quick Release Bridge System for Manfrotto MVH 502AH Fluid Video Head, B&H # KIMVH502BQR.

Q: 9. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1203106-REG/kirk_qr_ab1qr_2_5_square_lug_quick.html Can the above be used instead? As an alternative? What are the differences?

A: Yes, the one above works as well but you might want to consider BH #KIQRAB1QR if you are using long lenses or heavy rigging. It can offset the weight a lot better.

Q: 10. Does this device allow me to remotely control and switch cameras on the atem from a completely different location?

A: No, you cannot control or switch cameras on the ATEM from this device.

I'm a big fan of the Domke canvas bags. This is my third Domke canvas bag and I like it as much as the others (an F-2 and an F-3x.) I use it to contain and carry a Pentax K-5 body with one zoom and 3 prime lenses plus the usual extras like memory devices and spare batteries. It all fits and I can access what I need easily. The bag is well constructed and tough, is padded enough to do the job without being too heavy, and is still small enough to not be a burden when carried. I chose this bag, rather than another F-3x, for its squarer outline.

I'm a working pro shooting about 3 days weekly, this is my sholder bag that rides on top of my rolling bag until I get to my location where I have either 2 bodies, three lenses and a flash with some room to spare or 3 lenses a body and 2 flash with a little room to spare inside as my shooting, shuttle bag. This bag includes 2 nicely padded square (4 sided) velcro attached dividers and a divider between one of those. Domke makes a great bag, this is my 5th! but they do wear out. I wish the bottom was plastic coated and/or had feet that kept the bag off the cold or damp ground. The 'Ruggedwear' is different than the other traditional Domke canvas bags in that it is a tighter knit, but not as heavy 'oil cloth' it's a waxed cotton that when properly treated will provide you years of usage. These bags have an attractive classic English look that would go perfect with your Barbour coat. While the bag comes lightly pre treated (waxed), applying some of the included tin of wax, on areas that might be exposed to rain or spray. Take the time and properly apply it by first rubbing in with a small clean rag / cloth, following up by using a hair blower heat device so that wax impregnates into cloth. (It took me an hour to do the whole top flap and side pocket flaps.) I don't think that this bag is quite as durable as the classic Domke series canvas, but should provide you with years of good use. Remember the treated canvas is water repellent not water proof. If you are really hard on bags, get the classic Domke

Compartments inside the bag provide enough room to place my d200 (w/ out mb-d200 grip) with Nikkor 17-55mm Lens attached. I place my Nikkor 80-200 AF-D in one of the lens compartments and a SB-800 Flash in the other. Side, front, and rear pockets on the outside of the bag are big and provide plenty of room for other miscellanies accessories. I may even be able to fit my field 8'' netbook in one of the front or back pockets (Have not tried yet). The bag feels very good on your shoulders when weighed down because of the wide, thick, non-slip shoulder strap. A little more padding could defiantly benefit the strap. Wish the bag had a big enough padded compartment to house a DSLR with a battery grip attached. Bag is VERY pricey for what you get unfortunately. However this is the price you pay for a conspicuous bag. No other brand comes close to NOT screaming I have thousand dollar equipment in me. I have been using army surplus bags from my local surplus store over the last year which I modify for camera gear by inserting extra padding from my other camera bags; but I decided to purchase this bag for a 6 month trip I'm taking around the world this coming fall. This bag is great so far. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up on this 6 month trip. I expect the best from the thick canvas material.

I bought mine in 1988; still using it. Great functionality and it's been through the wringer. It's traveled with me everywhere and had everything in it from a Nikon N8008 to a Nikon D810. Thirty years old, tough as nails, obviously I swear by it.

The pricetag may seem a bit hefty, but this is a quality camera bag that you will use for decades. It's not as tall or wide as appears in the photos, so do some careful measuring about the amount of gear you want to haul before purchasing.

I purchased this bag for my 50D with a Tamron 18-270 attached. I wanted a bag that didn't look like a camera bag to use on a trip to Europe. I can fit the camera w/lens, CF card holder, spare batteries w/charger, lens cleaning equipment, small binoculars and various cables etc and still have room to spare. It is comfortable to sling as a messenger bag or carry as a duffle. My only complaint is the two padded dividers are not easy to fit a DSLR with battery grip and lens attached. I took them out completely and it works great.

I have been a Domke bag fan for over 30 years. So this particular bags magic is that it's a bit taller than the old design. I'm using it for MF.. Pentax 645's So one 645Z or two 645 film versions stacked. The end compartments will hold 4 645 film holders the other a dedicated flash and my light meter. you can get a couple of lenses in it also... on the shorties you can stack them.. using a padded separator. They also have an F-901, pouch.. it attaches to a strap and holds easily two film holders , or a few 45 film holders or lens hoods if their not huge.. This is a working shooters bag.. Their straps don't slip on your shoulder.
