Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a way to change the Video Level Range (Legal/Full) in the Streaming Bridge through the software? Or from the ATEM Mini Pro using OBS?

A: Not through any Blackmagic Software.

Q: 2. Is there anyway to record audio with this device ?

A: There are currently no audio recording options defined by manufacturer.

Q: 3. The MVH 502AH fluid video head comes with two 3/8-inch accessory attachment points, one on each side of the bridge. How do these attachment points work when the Kirk replacement bridge is installed?

A: Please e-mail us: askbh@bandh.com or call:

Q: 4. Are the HDMI and SDI outputs active at the same time? For instance can I send the SDI 1 to a monitor, while sending HDMI to a recorder simultaneously?

A: Yes the outputs are active all the time.

Q: 5. We utilize an ATEM Mini Pro in our studio and then connect with USB C to use as a webcam for clients events like Zoom/ Webex etc that have to have the usb c direct plug in to recognize the camera. I want to record the ATEM Program output but currently can't do that. Could a ATEM Streaming Bridge record for me instead?

A: the ATEM streaming bridge can be used to provide an extra HDMI program output that can be recorded on any external HDMI recorder. The streaming bridge does not record anything itself internally, it just provides you with another HDMI output that you can record or use with an external TV monitor.

Q: 6. The Watson NP-F770 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack is recommended for this item. Do I need to buy also the battery charger separately?

A: You will need to purchase a charger as well for the NP-F770 battery. We have a kit which includes the NP-F770 and a charger, BH #WANPF770CK. https://bhpho.to/2kuUtjl

Q: 7. With ATEM Mini Pro, can I simultaneously use ATEM HDMI for multi-view, USB-C for recording, and ethernet for *both* software control (from PC), and driving this device for streaming?

A: Yes to all.

Q: 8. We use the usb c for a webcam for feeds to zoom and other meetings. Can I use the bridge then to record or send to a computer that could record the event that way?

A: The ATEM Streaming Bridge doesn't have recording capabilities. If you send your ATEM Mini Pro's program feed over ethernet to the ATEM Streaming Bridge, you'll need a capture device to get the HDMI or SDI output into the computer for recording.

Q: 9. Does this device allow me to remotely control and switch cameras on the atem from a completely different location?

A: No, you cannot control or switch cameras on the ATEM from this device.

Q: 10. Related to a hardware functionality question on the Pro, will it be possible via firmware update to send a single fixed input to this device through Ethernet, and a switched program out through USB?

A: We can't predict if Blackmagic would be allowing that. For right now, this will just allow you to convert the IP signal into SDI and HDMI video.

I don't carry every piece of equipment everytime I leave the house; I only take the pieces I will need for that day. For this, the F-4AF is awesome. It's not that big, but that's what I want. It's also great for carrying everything I need for family excursions. If I need more, I take my backpack and leave nothing behind.

I use the bag for light travel. It is made of very high quality material. Just the right size to carry one body, two lenses, and a flash. Love it. I like it better with the padding removed. You can fit more stuff in then. Can't think of any negatives yet!

Ive an XTi with grip,, a 100-400L and the 1855IS I read some reviews and wondered about the 100-400L fitting in it, IT DOES,, tons of room, for extra batt-packs, and anything else, i carry my chargers in it and phone, when i head out for my folks house, well built easy to carry, and doesnt look like a purse, or camera bag, nice padding, and the cover covers everything nice, I run an open jeep, off road,, no dust, or mud, This is a good quality bag, and still room for more lens's im working on getting a 100mm, and a 24mm and know there will be room,

This bag is the perfect size for a Digital SLR and another lens with a few extra throw ins (whether it be computer cables, a flash or even a water bottle). The material is very durable and assembled perfectly; there are no visible flaws around the seams or clasps. I especially like the very thin rubberized track on the shoulder strap so it stays properly on the shoulder without sliding down. I believe my only qualm would be the lack of protective padding around the entire bag, its thin though not dangerously so. The padded bottom and sectional pockets compensate well.

It is great working bags if you want to get camera/lenses in and out easily. I added 3 cushion padding from J-1 end pockets into its three pockets and I can put one body without lens in the front pocket, sigma 10-20 with hood in left pocket and 17-35/55mm with hood on the right pocket. Inside I can put D2-series Nikon body with lens attached in main compartment (I also use the one from J-1 bag without any insert) and there is a space left outside the compartment that I can put 70-200vr vertically or I can put two primes in a leather Nikon bags next to each other e.g. 105mmvr, 85mm f1.4. I am saying that it holds a lot if you know how to use it. From what I say, it carries 2 bodies with grip, at least 5 lenses. It looks great and it is light. I don't use Domke J-1 bag I have because it is heavier.

Simply put... I love this bag. I was looking for a nice everyday bag for my camera with a zoom lens and a few accessories. This one hit the mark. It's also very well made and very comfortable on my shoulder.
