Q: 1. What is the expiration date on the current delta 100 that is for sale?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 2. Can I develop this film using C41 developer? Thanks

A: No way... This is a standard B&W film. Best developer to use is Rodinol 1/32 at 8.5 minutes. This is definitely NOT a C-41 film.

Q: 3. Is there a specific developer (e.g. D-76) that is suggested for this film?

A: There is no specific developer recommended. Any standard developer such Kodak D76 (that you mentioned) or HC110 or Ilford Ilfosol will work well.

Q: 4. Does this film work in normal lighting or extreme lighting?

A: As a 50 iso ( slower, less sensitive to light) film it requires a fair amount of light. If you're used to shooting 400 speed film like HP5+, you'll also likely notice this film has more contrast.

Q: 5. What are the times for Marathon (bulk film developer)?

A: Yes, Kentmere ISO 400 35mm film has DX coding. The DX coding number of this film is 017703.
