Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much does this tripod weigh?

A: According to our specs page, it weighs 4.3lbs.

Q: 2. Do I need to use the Sachtler Adapter 100/150 with this tripod to mount the Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head? Thanks

A: yes, as Video 18 is 100 mm head and Cine 2000k has a 150 mm bowl

Q: 3. is this a strong and durable tripod

A: This is a durable tripod capable of supporting up to 13 pounds.

Q: 4. This tripod uses an arca Swiss plate?

A: The plate style on the miliboo MUFA Aluminum Travel Tripod is a custom style and not Arca Swiss. To convert the plate style to Arca Swiss you could add this QR adapter that would convert the plate style to Arca Swiss. https://bhpho.to/3PAk3mu

Q: 5. Am I missing something with this tripod and it's shining reviews? The legs seem wobbly and the fluid head seems a bit cheap and jerks a bit if you move too far to the left or the right. Am I doing something wrong or what am I missing?

A: Typically lightweight travel tripods are less stable and less smooth than their bigger heavier counterparts. This tripod doesn't have a ton of reviews so it is hard for us to say why some people have great reviews while others have negative reviews. Here are a few things to consider when putting your experience with the product in perspective. 1. In regards to the legs they are what they are. As long as the locks function properly there is no way to improve the stability of the legs. I do see a review that rave about the build quality of the tripod but smaller tripods are made of lighter weight materials which are often less stable. This is even more true of inexpensive tripods where they often use a lot of plastic instead of metal which can make the tripod feel cheap. 2. Make sure the locks on the head are completely off. some tripods have a dial that enables you to add/subtract resistance but this tripod head does not. it only has a break if you engage it partially it will create jerky movements. 3. most of the reviewers admit that they are not experienced photographers or that they purchased it as a gift for someone. For their needs the Milliboo seemed to meet or exceed their expectations but for you it seems it may have fallen short. For the record your experience would be a valuable addition to the review section to add more context for other shoppers who are potentially interested in this product. We hope to aid people in being as informed as possible about products before they purchase. 4. speaking of being informed if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out to us either through Chat (at the top of the page) or over the phone at 1-800-606-6969 and we'd be happy to help you figure out whether or not the Milliboo tripod is a good investment for you and if necessary help you find an alternative.

Q: 6. Can i shoot in portrait with the fluid head?

A: No. This does not have the option to tilt into portrait position. You can, however, if your camera is mounted within a cage and that cage has mounting threads on all sides, mount your camera in the desired "portrait" position, but we would recommend using caution for such rigging.

Q: 7. would this bee a good travel tripod

A: I would say this is a bit heavy for a travel tripod. Instead, take a look at the Prima Photo Big Travel Tripod.

Q: 8. What quick release system will work with the 509P Long plate? I would like to put one on my rig for easy switching.

A: The 509PLong plate is compatible with the Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter, BH #MA577. https://bhpho.to/2m2KMPn

Q: 9. Does this come with a case?

A: This kit comes with a padded bag.

Q: 10. Do these tripod legs ( MTT701AWH ) come with a carry case ?

A: No, the miliboo MTT701AWH legs do not come with a carry case.
