Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the head be removed to attach my own ball head from my current tripod (Williams Optics)?

A: The ball head included with the K&F Concept SA284C1 Carbon Fiber Tripod/Monopod Kit with Ball Head can be removed.

Q: 2. Does this tripod support a Nikon D7200 with a 200-500mm lens?

A: The K&F Concept D225C2 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Arca-Type Ball Head and Monopod is technically rated to support 17 pounds. While the D7200 plus the 200-500mm lens is under 17 pounds, I would recommend a stronger tripod due to the long focal length. Something in the 30 pounds plus ranges such as this: https://bhpho.to/4chmmGI

Q: 3. How is this different from the Manfrotto MVMXPROC5US Carbon Fiber XPRO Video Monopod+ and why is it $60 more expensive?

A: We could not find any significant difference between the two. It appears to be a difference known only to Manfrotto. We therefore suggest buying the cheaper one while you can.

Q: 4. Does this monopod and base come with a bag?

A: No, a carrying bag or carrying case is not included with the purchase of the Manfrotto XPRO MPMXPROC4US Carbon Fiber Monopod with XPRO Fluid Base Kit. If you are looking for a carrying case compatible for the above setup, the Manfrotto 3279BLK (AW-3279B) 25" Tripod Bag, B&H # MA3279B, or the Ruggard Padded Tripod / Light Stand Case (27"), B&H # RUBP20272, would be compatible for your usage needs.

Q: 5. The max load of 22lbs seems high compared with over travel video tripod (usually less than 10 lbs). Is this data reliable, and why ?

A: The miliboo MUFA Aluminum Travel Tripod has a max load of 11lbs.

Q: 6. I have fully loosened the pan and tilt locks and still feel like there is lots of tension. Is there another way to reduce the tension for quicker panning/tilting?

A: You can adjust the counterbalance on the side of the video head. This will loosen up the drag and allow you to pan and tilt more smoothly.

Q: 7. If you were to remove the camera mount and leg stand from the monopod, how long would the tube be in a completely folded state?

A: It would be approximately 21.6 inches.

Q: 8. Is leveling the tripod achieved purely by the legs, or is there a bowl under the head?

A: Yes, Leveling the Miliboo MUFA Aluminum travel tripod would require adjusting the legs to level the head.

Q: 9. Is the entire tilt head removable, to place a gimbal or other head type?

A: The Benro MSD46C72 SupaDupa Carbon Fiber Monopod with Tilt Head (72") head does come off and the monopod has a 3/8 thread male connection.

Q: 10. A manfrotto head compatible with this?

A: Yes most heads are 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 ,this monopod takes both
