Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi, It's the quick release plate compatibile with Manfrotto plate?

A: No it is not.

Q: 2. Can the 75mm bowl be removed so the head can be mounted to a flat surface?

A: According to Miller the DS-10 has a Removable ball level stud for flat base mounting (sliders) with 3/8 screw hole.

Q: 3. Is leveling the tripod achieved purely by the legs, or is there a bowl under the head?

A: Yes, Leveling the Miliboo MUFA Aluminum travel tripod would require adjusting the legs to level the head.

Q: 4. How much is the total weight, tripod with head?

A: The Manfrotto kit comes with two parts. The Manfrotto 500 head weight is 2 pounds. And the legs are 4.3 lb. The total weight of both head and legs would be 6.3 pounds.

Q: 5. Can this head be converted to a flat base?

A: Yes it can. The Miller DS20 has a removable ball level stud for flat base mounting with a 3/8 thread.

Q: 6. How well will this work with Nikon D780 & Nikon 200-500mm lens?

A: The Benro Classic Video Monopod with S2 Pro Flat Base Fluid Video Head has a maximum load capacity of 5.5 lb (2.49 kg). The combined weight of the Nikon D780 DSLR Camera and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens is 6.92 lb (3.14 kg). As such, I would not recommend using the Nikon D780 DSLR Camera and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens on the Benro Classic Video Monopod with S2 Pro Flat Base Fluid Video Head.

Q: 7. I have a Manfrotto small tripod head and when I pan left (I think) the head starts to unscrew unless I am panning very slowly. Does this happen with this tripod head or do they have a way to prevent that?

A: No, the miliboo MUF Video Fluid Head should have no issues with unscrewing like that.

Q: 8. is there a minimum payload?

A: No, there is no minimum payload for the Miller DS-10 Fluid Head (75mm Ball Base).

Q: 9. If you were to remove the camera mount and leg stand from the monopod, how long would the tube be in a completely folded state?

A: It would be approximately 21.6 inches.

Q: 10. I have this head (flat) and am looking for legs that it can fit with. I'm primarily looking for the tallest possible legs with a fluid side-to-side panning capability. Anyone have advice?

A: Dont know, sorry.
