The SLi-600 features two 3-pin XLR outputs that each provide regulated 28V power and two 4-pin XLR outputs that each provide 12.5 to 16.8 VDC output. It also features an LCD screen to view your output current, percentage, and battery capacity status.

The unit is to only be charged using the included BlockBattery PSU-185-18 charger using the XLR charge input port, and it can charge from empty to full in approximately four hours. An XLR charging cable is also included. The outer case contains the inner cage that houses the battery block structure, as well as replaceable fuses for the inputs. The battery system can be carried by the top handle when you need to go mobile.

A: I haven’t charged mine on a RED charger, but it’s likely to work. I use an IDX charger, not a Blueshape, and they’re fine. I routinely use whatever v-mount battery on whatever charger with no problems for years. The only real potential problem I see is if a warranty situation comes up. The battery company will blame the charger company for the fault and vice versa. When you get to know the chargers and batteries, after time, you’ll easily be able to diagnose if you have a battery problem or a charger problem. These batteries are the best I’ve ever had. Ditch those RED bricks. They’re only 90wh (if I remember correctly), but with a profile of a bug 120-140wh battery. It’s the worst of both worlds (weak currant, but the size of a big battery. Blueshape mini’s are the opposite. Low profile, low center of gravity, but the 140wh ones can deliver 12A continuously, which is unheard of for its size.
