According to Rosco, they suggest to prime porous surfaces, except fabrics, using Rosco Tough Prime, B&H # ROTPWG . They also stated that if painting a new plaster surface, you should prime the wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster. You can then use Rosco Tough Prime as a final preparation. They also suggest using a white base coat to achieve the most dramatic color effects.
