Fantastic sturdy tripod.

Just received from B&H the Benro TMA37AL Long Series 3 Mach3 Aluminum Tripod with matching Benro Ballhead. More than I initially wanted to spend but now that I have it and am using it, it's more than worth it. The Tripod provides excellent stability for a camera with zoom lens (the Sigma 150-600 zoom lens). Would not have purchased in the first place if it hadn't been for the thoughtful advice of the B&H associate.

I originally bought the Benro TMA47AXL, thinking I would need the extra height. That thing was too much of a beast. This Benro is the perfect size and weight for Real Estate Photography. I can still get VERY tall shots, but mostly I just extend the legs 1 length, and often I leave them full closed, and use the center column. It is around the perfect height for lower ceilings, light enough to not be a concern, and stiff enough that I have NO camera shake from the tripod at all. Just perfect all round, and a GREAT price.

This tripod was just what I was looking for. It is sturdy with a Gimbal head, Canon 7D, and a big 150-600mm lens on it. The staff member at B&H was very helpful with my questions. Great service as usual.

I was a bit skeptical about this strap but a buddy of mine got one and saw how easy it was, I decided to try it out... wasn't disappointed. The strap is as strong as the normal version (can hold the same weight) and is a bit cheaper. The adjustment lever is super easy to manage in order to make the camera rest closer to your body (and viceversa). Took this strap on a hike, adjusted it to a setting I found confortable for a long walk, and it didn't swayed AT ALL! The strap didn't move to my neck either, it always stayed firmly in place. The anchors are very secure, although hard (in my case), to lock/unlock. Not an issue for me though since it doesn't interfere with the tripod. Have it combined with an L-plate and it works wonders for me.

I am a real estate photographer and I move very quickly through the shoot. This tripod is solid and the legs don't flop around and when I set it down I don't have to worry about it.

I have now used this tripod at home, in my yard and on the road.
It has been great in each case good steady support for my DSLR and 200-500 mm lens as well as Macro.

I really like this tripod (with the B3 head). Very stable, locks up nicely and easy to adjust. A bit heavy for some but fits my needs, this is the last tripod (and head) I'll ever have to buy.

This tripod allows me to use the Benro Gimble Head with a camera and a very heavy telephoto lens. Built rock solid.

Used Manfroto for many years but their stuff is pure garbage these days. Have been looking for a reasonably-priced alternative and stumbled on Benro. So far I'm very impressed.

My only complaint about these legs are I should have bought the smaller version (I have since done so). These are very tall and large. My company does real estate photography and these are just too big and unwieldy for doing this sort of thing. Their regular (non-long) version of these are absolutely perfect. Much lighter than the equivalent Manfroto legs and I much prefer the twist locks over their flip switches. These also feel much-better constructed.

I'm a Benro fan now!
