The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Detachable 3.5mm Locking Connector for Happie Amp or Empower Sound Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Happie Amp or Empower Sound Happie Amp and Amazing Amp wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Standard, for most uses.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. official web site Voice Delay: ≤6ms. here is 12ms. so what is it?
A: 12ms for the system. The transmitter and receiver each have its own latency, that adds to 12ms for the system.
Q: 2. Does it work with its old handhold microphone, hu9?
A: That, I do not know it's a great little system
Q: 3. Could this microphone be useful when put on a player during a game? (aka mic'd up)
A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II Single Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder could be used for capturing in-game audio when properly secured to an athlete during gameplay. You may want to consider adding a lavalier microphone such as the Rode Lavalier GO Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Wireless GO Systems (BH #ROLAVGO) so that the transmitter can be properly secured elsewhere in the player's uniform: https://bhpho.to/3LbG3AZ
Q: 4. How do I tell if a xmittr is charging, or charged? The blue light doesn't always come on. And the transmitter doesn't turn on,
A: When charging the transmitter for the RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder, the battery LED on the transmitter will flash and the battery level icon on the receiver will display a lightning bolt. When the battery is fully charged, it will display a green outline. The Wireless GO II can also be used while it's charging.
Q: 5. If you are using the system to feed audio into a computer without recording (think Zoom webinar), how long do the batteries last?
A: The receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II Single 1-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit should charge and receive USB bus power while connected to a computer and acting as an audio interface for use with software programs such as Zoom. The receiver battery should not be subject to failure or power loss as long as the receiver is connected over USB.
Q: 6. Just arrived and plugged in a few of our Sony UWP lavs, but no sound? Figured it automatically toggles between the onboard and lav just by plugging it in? Don't see any documentation that's says otherwise? The lavs certainly work. Is it because of the lock? It certainly click and fits securely.
A: The Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder is not compatible for use with lavaliers using the Sony 3.5mm wiring configuration. Rode uses the "Sennheiser" 3.5mm wiring configuration for compatibility. Lavaliers with locking 3.5mm connections are sometimes prevented from making a complete input connection due to the physical size and orientation of the locking mechanism, which can inhibit compatibility as well, regardless of the wiring configuration.
Q: 7. What is the best affordable external recorder to record 4 or more output?
A: You connect and simultaneously record four or more wireless receivers or wired microphones using the Zoom H6 All Black 6-Input / 6-Track Portable Handy Recorder with Single Mic Capsule (B&H # ZOH6B) or Zoom H8 8-Input / 12-Track Portable Handy Recorder (B&H # ZOH8). Four wireless receivers or wired microphones can be recorded simultaneously using the Tascam DR-70D 6-Input / 4-Track Multi-Track Field Recorder with Onboard Omni Microphones (B&H # TADR70D). These recorders are all portable, compact and affordable.
Q: 8. If transmitter and receivers are fully charged units stop charging inside case to avoid damage on internal batteries?
A: Yes. It does not charge once full. If you remove the transmitters and receivers and put them back in without turning them on, it will attempt to charge them and then quickly see that they are charged and stop charging shortly after though.
Q: 9. What is the operating temperature?
A: Rode's engineers have not provided specifications for the operating temperature range of the Wireless GO II system. We will post the information once it is available. You can also email them at info@rode.com to have the details sent to you directly.
Q: 10. How many ampere should be rated the USB type A charger to charge quickly a Blink 500 TX?
A: 2.1 A will get it done.
