The white B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Detachable 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sky Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Sky UT86P wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Q: 3. Can I use TRRS Lavalier microphones even though it has a TRS input?

A: Yes, but you will need to use an adapter like the Rode SC3 3.5mm TRRS Female to 3.5mm Right-Angle TRS Male Adapter Cable (B&H # ROSC3) which will convert the 3.5mm TRRS plug on the mic to 3.5mm TRS for compatibility with the mic input on the Wireless GO II transmitter, as well as other standard 3.5mm TRS mic inputs like those on a recorder or camera.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Canon 6D?

A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II Single 1-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit is compatible for use with a Canon EOS 6D DSLR Camera.

Q: 5. Previous answer says these still power off after 15 min if link is lost. Does this also happen if recording on the transmitters is enabled? That would mean the local recording only saves you if the dropout is less than 15 minutes?!

A: It shuts off after 10 minutes of no link to the receiver and will stop recording upon shutdown. But it would record up until shutdown.

Q: 6. Is it possible to connect multiple receivers to the same transmitters (ie. using this system to hop an audio mix to multiple cameras)?

A: This is not a suggested usage of this digital wireless system.

Q: 7. can you use outdoors using only cell data on iphone, and live on zoom?

Q: 9. Can two receivers fit/work side by side in one camera that has two xlr inputs?

A: Yes, I have used these as a pair on a Canon XL-10 ENG style camera. There the XLR inputs are really side by side, yet the small footprint of the receivers on the AVX's makes this a non-issue. Great system, with fine clear sound.

Q: 10. Have they addressed the interference and noise issues with Sony and other cameras through firmware?

A: Hello Tyler, That's a problem Sony has to address, as it caused by the camera's input not being shielded well enough to block RF.
