The black I2 Instrument Microphone, High Gain, with TA4F Connector for Revolabs HD Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and capturing detail in quieter instruments. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Revolabs HD wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very high rejection for sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.

Q: 5. Would this work with the Synco WAir-G2-A2 units?

A: Because the SmallRig Telescoping Interview Handgrip for Rode Wireless GO is specifically designed to match the form factor of Rode's Wireless GO transmitter, it is hard to confirm whether it will also work with similar wireless components from other brands like Synco. The Handgrip does appear to attach to the transmitter via the belt clip, however, and after inspecting the form factor of the units in the Synco WAir-G2-A2 Ultracompact 2-Person Digital Wireless Microphone System for Mirrorless/DSLR Cameras (BH #SYWAIRG2A2), the belt clip appears quite similar to that of the Rode. There is a good chance that this handgrip can be used with the WAir-G2-A2, but we cannot confirm for certain at this time.

Q: 6. What kind of cable power I need for powering this monitor to a V-Mount Battery Plate?

A: The PORTKEYS LH7P 7" High-Bright Touchscreen Monitor with Wireless Control (Black), B&H # POLH7PB, accepts a USB-A or a coaxial barrel (7-24DC) input. Depending upon the output ports on the V-mount battery plate, either a USB-A or a D-Tap cable could be used.

This the best wi-fi system out today. I love it and the family loves it too.

Very easy to install (although changing the setting by which the mesh points communicate with the router from 5 GHZ to 2.4 GHz, which I had to do in order to get the range I needed, can, at present, only be done with the Android app and not the iOS app -- had to speak with tech support a number of times to clear that up). The connections are solid and the speed at which our computers, phones, iPads and other devices are connecting to the web has improved greatly. This is a very impressive product.
