The black B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Mid Gain, with TA4F Connector for MW223 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to MW223 Paso wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If the on-camera person has the transmitter behind her back and the receiver is by the camera operator, will the system will work? The line of sight would be obstructed by the on-camera person in this case.

A: I don't expect that there would be a problem with the signal from the Rode Wireless GO II transmitter and receiver communicating as long as they are not very far away from each other. In the unlikely event that you do experience any problems with the signal dropping, you can have the person move the transmitter closer to their side or as another option, use a long cable to connect the receiver to the camera and that would allow you to relocate the receiver and place it so it is in better line of sight with the transmitter.

Q: 2. How can I mount this on my Sony a7 III ?

A: The receiver mounts to the accessory shoe on the Sony a7 III.

Q: 3. If I have two receivers and four transmitters, will the two receivers operate on two different frequencies?

A: Yes

Q: 4. Do you need to use the app to start recording on the transmitters? Can it be started on the unit itself?

A: The recodings are done directly on each transmitter. No additional apps or software is needed

Q: 5. Does it work with panasonic Lumix S5?

A: Yes The Rode Go will work wth anything that has a 3.5mm microphone input, including the Lumix S5.

Q: 6. can this connect to an Iphone 14 Pro max?

A: Yes, the RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder can be connected to an iPhone by using the RODE SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable (B&H # ROSC15).

Q: 7. can i use headphones with this system?

A: No, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder does not have a dedicated headphone output connection. The receiver has a 3.5mm Mic level output for connecting to external devices, but this output would not work with headphone in the same way.

Q: 8. Does this come with small cover for the lavalier mics ?

A: The lavalier micprophones in this it come with windscreens and tie clips.

Q: 9. When the TX unit is plugged into the computer does it charge at the same time as data? Kinda like a cell phone when it's plugged into a computer.

A: The data tranfer will only take a couple of minutes, not long enough for a proper charge.

Q: 10. Not being a pro sound guy so I'm trying to avoid Sennheiser products, I'm looking for solutions to these uses: First, will it work with BMPCC 4k-8k? 4k does not have a hot shoe. Second, I'm setting up podcasts with up to six speakers using different cameras. How can I configure this with Rode ll? I am using Black Magic Atem Mini Pro switcher that has four html inputs and 2 mic connects. At any rate, what about compatibility?

A: The Rode Go will plug into the Black Magic (or any compatible device) using the 3.5mm jack. However, If you plan on havng six microphones on set (the limit wth this system is 8) I recommend connecting the microphones into a mixer then taking the output of the mixer into the ATEM.
