A: So the two units are not the same. 1 byte is made up of 8 bits. So 1MB/s = 8Mb/s. So the the video data rate is referring to the speed in bits rather than bytes. 600Mb/s is 75MB/s so you need a SD card with minimum write speed of at least 75 MB/s.
