The black I2 Bass and Cello Microphone Kit with TA5F Connector for Lectrosonics IM, LM, UM100, UM110, UM190, UM190b, UM195b, UM200, UM200b, UM200c, UM250b, UM250c, UM300b, UM400, and UM500 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been built from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.

The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and captures detail for quieter instruments. Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the bass and cello mount, which sits securely behind the bridge with a positioning arm for placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a TA5F connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics IM, LM, UM100, UM110, UM190, UM190b, UM195b, UM200, UM200b, UM200c, UM250b, UM250c, UM300b, UM400, and UM500 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the instrument mounts, which position securely and gently on the instrument for capturing audio.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning and consistent patterns.

A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very high rejection for sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a Deity Pocket microphone kit with dual transmitters?

A: No, the Deity Pocket Wireless Microphone Kit includes a single transmitter. However, there is a Deity Connect Deluxe Wireless Lavalier Microphone Kit for two people (B&H # DEBPTRXDK) with two bodypack transmitters and a Deity Connect Deluxe Interview Kit for two people (B&H # DEHDTXKITUSA) with bodypack and plug-on transmitters as well as lavalier microphones.

Q: 2. Does autofocus function while recording 4K @ 120fps?

A: Yes the autofocus works on the Sony ZV-E1 Mirrorless Camera (Black) while you are recording 4k @ 120fps

Q: 3. Here's my scenario: client has wireless go II kit with lav mics running in merged mode out to a beachtek two channel mixer in "left" with a shotgun into beachtek "right". Client is presenting with another person but she Is MUCH louder than the other. Seeing as the gain control is on the receiver, it is affecting both transmitter levels.. Can the transmitter gain be adjusted individually in merged mode using the app? Or would it be possible to run the lav mic through a -db pad cable before it gets to the transmitter?

A: In this scenario we suggest implementing the "Low Sensitivity Mode" for the transmitter in question via the Rode Central App. This feature will allow the transmitter in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder that is experiencing a louder signal to have a pad activated on its input and hopefully bring the transmitters to a more even signal level. Q: 4. 4k 12o no crop?

A: The Sony ZV-E1 works in 4K up to 60p with no sensor crop.

Q: 5. Why does it say UHD 4k 120fps in the description, yet UHD 4K 59./60 in the specs?

A: I’m pretty sure they copied most of the description from the A7S III, and forgot to remove the 4K 120fps from the description. I’m sure this camera is technically capable of it, but only for like less than a minute before it overheats, so they likely have a sub firmware that limits it to 60FPS in 4K. Even the much larger A7S III overheats in those high frame rates, which is why the FX3 exists - it has a fan.

Q: 6. 10bit 60 S-log comes out to 600mb/s, Max writing speed on SD cards is 300Mb, am I missing something?

A: So the two units are not the same. 1 byte is made up of 8 bits. So 1MB/s = 8Mb/s. So the the video data rate is referring to the speed in bits rather than bytes. 600Mb/s is 75MB/s so you need a SD card with minimum write speed of at least 75 MB/s.

Q: 7. Is 1080p oversampled from the entire 4.2K sensor?

A: The Sony ZV-E1 Mirrorless Camera (Black), according to Sony, does not oversample when shooting 1080p.

Q: 8. I am hoping to do more lengthy videos. To reduce heat I was hoping to get a dummy battery setup. Is there a genuine Sony option?

A: The Sony NPA-MQZ1K can work as either AC power or you can use 4 batteries to power the ZV-E1 camera. Please take a look at the following link: https://bhpho.to/2I9b34k

Q: 9. How weather resistant compared to an A7IV or ZV-E10?

A: The Sony ZV-E1 Mirrorless Camera (Black) and the a7 IV have the same weather-proofing; the ZV-E10 is not weather-proofed.

Q: 10. (1. Does the mobile kit come with a lightning adaptor? (2. If not, is this compatible with iPhone devices via either a usb-c to lightning cable, or the included usb-c to 3.5mm, with an additional 3.5mm to lightning adapter?

A: 1. No. 2. You can use a TRRS to Lightning adapter to make it compatible with iOS like [B&H # APLAADAP].
