The StereoScope Pro 3D Stereo Image Analysis Plug-In from Blue Cat Audio is designed for use as a real-time stereo field analyzer and features the ability to display the evolution of your stereo image in either 2D or 3D waterfall views. For precision monitoring, the display can be zoomed in on, while 4 available memory slots allow you to compare multiple tracks. The generated envelope of your stereo track can be used as output MIDI CC data, allowing the StereoScope Pro to be used to control automation on other plug-ins. It supports VST, AU, RTAS, AAX, and DirectX formats on Mac and Windows.

It can accept and send both Analog and Digital (AES/EBU, DMX. Etc) signals in the same CAT5/6/7 Ethernet cable.

Needed something basic for shop. This is a basic unit, no major frills. It's advertised as docks with all IPhones but not so, it has 30 pin connector so will need adapter to use with newer iPhones. USB and SIM card plug is great. Remote works well but doesn't turn unit off. This is just a nice simple unit 5

It does what it says it does and that is to provide a stereo alternative to a camera's built in mic, at a pro level! Whilst the 'Pro level' can be disputable, it remains tied to what you pay for the product. I use this mic on my Nikon D600 because I want stereo reproduction of ambient and close quarter sounds. I also use a Zoom H4n for more serious stereo sound collection. If one complains about the mic still being able to pick up zoom and focus noises, albeit much less so, then it should be remembered that an audio professional wouldn't go that route. He'll use an off camera mic every time! The high level frequency ability of this mic is very good. attested when I recorded several wind chimes ringing. The lower frequencies ability of the mic are less than 'very good' but still quite capable. So when will you record an earthquake? Speech was also very good and I had no issue with quietness. My camera has adjustable manual gain control....just turn it up! I like this mic at what I consider to be a 'silly cheap' price. The (tiny) battery issue is less convenient for some buyers because they are not so readily available but it doesn't worry me as I have plug-in power from the camera at the mini jack input. The mic is also mounted in a soft rubber 'sleeve' to dampen camera handling noises. Whilst the price made me think twice about buying this product, I also have Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones which are astounding! So I went ahead and I was pleasantly surprised. The mic also came with a padded zipable sleeve for storage - Nice. I would recommend it to a friend 5

I use this mic with my Canon 7d. The fact that this mic fits on the hot shoe and doesn't make my set up cumbersome is a plus. Stereo sound is great, but there is a slight hiss. I'm sure this can be taken care of in post, but I'm not an avid filmmaker so it works for me. 5
