A: I do not have that issue and sometimes I do not use my microphones for weeks. Of course, the battery case slowly lose charge, but the the TXs and RX stay at 100% for weeks. You might have a defective unit.

Q: 2. Just received this Benro B3 Ballhead. I want to use this with the Wimberly Sidekick. The 360 panning is extremely stiff. Is there any adjustment available for this??

A: When I rotate my B3 on the panning axis, I can feel some dampening. For use as a ball head, I do not find it excessive. With that said, I cannot whip the head around like lightning. It wants to turn at a constant, and controlled speed. In other words, no jerky stop, starts, or pans. Imagine a panning video camera.. Perhaps, there is too much dampening for your purposes. I am not aware of any friction adjustment for the panning axis.

A: The specs do not indicate two SEPARATE audio channels; there is a single audio output listed as a balanced line out (TRS). USUALLY, these types of receivers "mix" the two mics into one channel. IF it does record these separately, it would be as a stereo signal, one mic to the Left, one mic to the Right. This is typical of these types of receivers. That means you MAY have the ability to adjust each mic received separately, however, you would need to move these to the "center" in post production, otherwise the mics would be far left and right, so would not be ideal, as each person on the individual mics would be far left and far right when played back, which may be un-natural when viewing two people in conversation, if they are shown at center in the video.
