The VH-A30 boasts a load capacity of 33 pounds, which is more than enough for any camera and lens combination you're likely to use on a monopod. Solid aluminum construction weathers the elements and tolerates the most demanding use, whether you're shooting wildlife, nature, or a sporting event.

If you're going to be running up and down the sidelines to keep up with the action, you can't use gear that slows you down. Weighing less than a pound, when you need to make a quick location change, you can easily slip the tilt head into your coat pocket.

The ability to quickly change your aim is one thing a monopod does best. The VH-A30 tilt head delivers the flexibility to adjust your camera's angle, and still maintain control over the camera and lens. The VH-A30 tilts a full 90° up or down, and the locking knob lets you easily adjust the tension on the ball.

Shooting with a monopod makes it challenging to keep your camera level. A glance at the integrated bubble level helps you align your camera with the horizon and keep your shots level.

The ability to quickly attach your camera and lens, and quickly move your camera from a tripod to a monopod, is vital when you're shooting nature, wildlife, and sports. The included QR-20 Quick Release plate lets you mount and unmount your camera from the head with a simple twist of the wrist, and the plate is also available separately, so you can attach one to each of your cameras for fast and effortless swapping.

Q: 6. Can this be use with iFootage monopod ?

A: This has the standard 3/8"-16 mounting threads that most tripod and monopods use. While I am pretty certain most of the iFootage monopods come with a 1/4"-20 / 3/8"-16 spring-loaded mounting screw, if for any reason the screw is too small, you are able to simply use a bushing reducer for it to work on almost all systems.

A: Yes, this monopod supports 11lbs, so it should work fine.

A: Yes, the Oben CTM-2600 6-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod with VH-A30 Tilt Head Kit has a 26 lb load capacity, it will support the Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera.

Q: 10. Can this Monopod accept a foot base? If so, what bases will it accept and how does adding a base affect the weight capacity that it will hold?

Just what I needed to put on my trek pole/monopod. I am older, love to walk but I'm a little shaky so this is perfect for my Canon EOS 6i with my Tamron 16-300. Nice weight also

Prior to purchasing the Oben VH-A30, I had tried using a ball head and a gimbal on my monopod for wildlife photography. The ball head was difficult to control with my Sigma 150-600 Sport Lense and while the gimbal was much more manageable, it was at times cumbersome trying to move from one location to another. From the first day I tried out the Oben VH-A30, I was very pleased with its functionality and quality. As much of my work is in photographing birds in the woods, I need to move from one location to another routinely and I can accomplish that very easily with this product.
This is a high quality tilt head and provides excellent security for mounting the heavy lense and camera to the monopod.
I highly recommended the Oben VH-A30!
