The light beige B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Mid Gain, with TA3F Connector for RAD360-BP Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to RAD360-BP Audix wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you record audio to transmitter and receiver output at the same time?

A: Yes, the transmitters in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder are capable of internal recording while simultaneously transmitting to the receiver for recording to an external device such as a camera.

Q: 2. Does this mic combo require use of a Sennheiser app for recording, or will it work with Filmic, the camera app, voice recorder, etc?

A: The free Rode Control app is required to use Rode's built-in features that allow you to record audio directly onto the Wireless Go II transmitters and to adjust the settings for the recorded files. But you can use the Wireless Go II as a standard wireless mic system to record the audio onto another device like a smartphone with the camera app, voice recorder, or Filmic app.

Q: 3. What is the best way to connect the receiver to a camera with XLR audio inputs? (One without mini plug audio input?

A: You can use a stereo mini to dual XLR cable like the Hosa Technology Pro Stereo Breakout Cable - 3.5mm Stereo Mini to Dual 3-Pin XLR Male - 3' (B&H # HOHMX003Y) to connect to both of the camera's inputs or use the Kopul Stereo Right-Angle 1/8" Male Mini-Jack to XLR Male Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KORSMXM015) to connect the receiver to a single XLR input.

Q: 4. can I use this as a mic with my ipad mini by plugging it into the USB-C port?

A: Yes, the receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder can output its signal over USB Type-C into an iPad's USB Type-C connection using the Rode SC16 Straight USB Type-C to Right-Angle USB Type-C Cable (BH #ROSC16): https://bhpho.to/3NwP49B

Q: 5. Does the receiver mount to a camera hot shoe?

A: The Rode Wireless GO II receiver does not have the ability to interface with a hot shoe, but its clip is the correct size and shape to slot into a standard shoe mount for mounting purposes only.

Q: 6. I realize this question was already asked last year, but is there any auto-shut-off feature if I turn the "always" recording feature on? Wouldn't that like not make any sense? Who in their right mind would trust this to always record if it would just shut off after 15 minutes of not being connected to the receiver?

A: When the Rode Wireless GO II Transmitter is set for "Always" recording mode, the transmitter will start recording audio as soon as it is switched on and it will continue recording until it is switched off, regardless of whether or not it is connected to the Wireless GO II Receiver. This feature makes the Wireless GO II Transmitter suitable for use as a standalone field recorder. Additionally, when used in "Always" record mode, the mute function will not affect the on-board recording but it will mute the ability to transmit audio wirelessly.

Q: 7. Can I use 4 transmitters and one receiver?

A: For this system, you would need one receiver for each 2 transmitters.

Q: 8. Does it work with Canon EOS R

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. Does the transmitter work if hidden and placed behind the subject's back?

A: It will work depending upon the line of sight distance from the receiver.

Q: 10. what is product warranty?

A: The RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder has a limited one-year warranty which can be extended to two years with registration on Rode's website.
