The V-mount Rugged Mini Field Production Power Station from BLUESHAPE provides two battery charging bays and three XLR outputs for powering your cameras, lights, and other gear on set and nearly anywhere else. It also features a 4-pin data socket for computer testing, debugging, and calibration. All this is offered in a compact-sized, watertight, and impact-resistant portable hard case with locking 2-step latches and a swiveling ergonomic carry handle.

The case connects to a wall outlet for power using an included 3-prong AC power cable. The battery bays provide simultaneous charging at 65W each and allow hot-swapping so that you can use the case uninterruptedly. The XLR outputs are powered from mounted batteries and can be used even when the batteries are being charged off of AC power.

A 14V 4-pin XLR output is always live, and the 28V and 48V 3-pin XLR outputs are alternately selectable via a selector switch. Two of the three XLR ports can be used at the same time. An array of three LED indicators per each battery bay confirms the current output delivered by a battery on a 0-10A scale.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How long can Amaran 200x last on batteries?

A: The Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station (V-Mount) does not included batteries. Using two 98wh batteries the Amaran 200x will last at full power about 45 minutes.

Q: 2. Can you power this unit via AC power? Does it come with an adapter to do so?

A: This is a battery adapter it is not AC capable.

Q: 3. Anyone know cheap way to get this (any B-mount) mounted to pole or a non-electronic V-mount for d-tapping a light?

A: The B-mount battery type is a brand new form factor and because of this there isn't currently an inexpensive option. I can recommend adapting the B-mount to V-mount with the Bebob B-Mount Battery Adapter for V-Mount Camera and then using the CAMVATE Universal Super Crab Clamp with T-Handle and V-Mount Battery Lock to mount to a light stand, so that the battery can be used with the light via D-Tap.

Q: 4. If you place two IDX 14.5 V batteries into the case will the 4 pin output 14V or 28 V?

A: When using the IndiPRO Tools Field Power Station the voltage output would match the batteries you work with. 14.8v batteries would output 14.8v and 26v would output 26v. The voltage would match the batteries you supply. Both the 4pin and 3pin connector would output the same voltage as the batteries supplied.

Q: 5. Do you need two batteries to make it work? Or will one be fine?

A: This unit requires two batteries.

Q: 10. Will this allow the 600d work at full power?

A: This device will output 48v @10amps. That is 480w. That is less than a 600d at full power.
