The light beige B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Mid Gain, with 3.5mm Connector for WM-370, WM-4310, WM-5320, and WM-5325 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

A: Yes

Q: 2. Can i record with the Zoom H6?

A: Yes on the Zoom H6 there is a 3.5mm jack input on the X/Y capsule thats included with the H6 you can connect The Rode Go there,.also you can buy a 3.5mm female to XLR male adapter that you can also use in one of the XLR port input on The Zoom and take adavantage of the mic preamps on the Zoom for a better quality of the audio recordings. Just keep in mind when your using The Rode Go II that you are connecting two mics into one input from the receiver into the Zoom H6 you will not be able to record seperate tracks for editing. But overall if you are using it that way monitor your audio from the Rode and Zoom to make sure the levels are properly set before recoring. And also if you need to edit audio The Rode Go can record seperate tracks for editing ,you just dont have that flexability on the Zoom H6.

Q: 3. Can I sync the audio in post (transmitter only) without issue with camera's framerate and dropframe eg. at 30 or 60fps in NTSC?

A: If you change the framerate in post the audio will no longer lock without vari-speed. You will need to play the video back at the same frame rate it was shot in.

Q: 4. can i use headphones with this system?

A: No, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder does not have a dedicated headphone output connection. The receiver has a 3.5mm Mic level output for connecting to external devices, but this output would not work with headphone in the same way.

Q: 5. Could these have any possible interference issues if using at a busy trade show?

A: Yes that is possible.

Q: 6. Can I use this as lav for live sound?

A: Yes. It is an Omni-Directional Microphone, so appropriate caution near speakers is required.

Q: 7. Does this unit capture 32 bit float?

A: Rode will publish something soon to shed some light about the Record vs. Export file formats and how it relates to 32 bit float export.

Q: 8. Is there the ability to connect audio to an XLR input?

A: With the proper cables or adapters, it can. To record both channels, you may want to get a 3.5mm Mini to dual XLR, such as HOHMX003Y

Q: 9. Can I buy multiple sets to use for group settings of 4 - 6 people with one receiver unit on the camera?

A: The Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder allows up to 8 mics to be used at once in the same setting, however each receiver can only accommodate two transmitter signals. A scenario with 4-6 microphones/transmitters would require 2-3 receivers.

Q: 10. Does the Rode Wireless Go II transmit the audio between the transmitter and the receiver in 24bit or 32bit?

A: The Rode Wireless Go II performs A/D conversion at 24-bit resolution, and 24-bit audio is transmitted to the receiver.
