The black I2 Instrument Microphone, Standard Gain, with TA3F Connector for Audix B60 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard gain and is suitable for close miking and loud instruments like horns. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective for picking up sound directly in front of the microphone and is less sensitive to sound directly behind the microphone. It picks up about 1/3 less ambient noise than the omnidirectional polar pattern, so the working distance (the distance a performer could be positioned from the microphone) is approximately 1.7 times that of the omni. The cardioid pattern works best when you can position the microphone directly towards the sound you wish to record (a lead singer, for example) and directly away from unwanted sound sources like a crowd or a loud monitor).

Q: 1. Good day, Regarding the shipment of photographic film, is it guaranteed that it will not go through X-rays and spoil the film?

Q: 2. i bought this film several times and had no issue. However when i bought two more reels this time the perforations were smaller than previously and because of this my camera is not able to get hold of the film and pull it through to the empty spool. Have you ever heard of this being a problem? Is there a potential fix for this?

A: I would have to say you received the wrong product, this very similar looking one: Foma FOMAPAN R100 B&W Double Super 8 Reversal Film (33') B&H # FOPR10010. This film has the smaller Super 8 perforations. Unfortunately, we normally cannot accept opened film boxes. However, please contact B&H Customer Service to see what they may be able to do. Q: 8. what ban door is compatible with the Broncolor L40?The description says it accepts them, but under the accessories list there isn't any ban door available

A: Hi Juan, thanks for your question! The Broncolor Barndoor Set for Siros L40 Reflector, B&H part number BRBDL4 / manufacturer number B-33.119.00 , fits the L40 Reflector.

Q: 9. Would this film work in a Revere 8, model 88?

A: Yes, this film will work in any REGULAR 8mm camera, also called a STANDARD 8mm camera. These are the older 8mm cameras made beforeSuper 8 was introduced. The film comes in a open roll, not a cartridge. When you load the camera be sure to do so in dim light so you won't fog the film. Hope you still have the empty take-up reel in the camera! Thenexpose the film correctly for 100ASA and be sure to focus the camera.Check the internet for 8mm black and white processing. Shooting movieson film is expensive but I believe it is more fun and rewarding than shootingon video. Good luck! JB

Only the Umbrella Reflector for Siros / Siros L (B&H#BRURSMFR#B-33.117.00), included with your Siros 800L, accommodates an umbrella. We have submitted a request to B&H have this corrected.
