The black I2 Instrument Microphone, Standard Gain, with TA3F Connector for AKG DPT800, DPT700, PT2000, PT40, PT400, PT4000, PT45, PT450, PT4500, PT470, PT60, PT61, PT80, and PT81 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard gain and is suitable for close miking and loud instruments like horns. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to AKG DPT800, DPT700, PT2000, PT40, PT400, PT4000, PT45, PT450, PT4500, PT470, PT60, PT61, PT80, and PT81 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective for picking up sound directly in front of the microphone and is less sensitive to sound directly behind the microphone. It picks up about 1/3 less ambient noise than the omnidirectional polar pattern, so the working distance (the distance a performer could be positioned from the microphone) is approximately 1.7 times that of the omni. The cardioid pattern works best when you can position the microphone directly towards the sound you wish to record (a lead singer, for example) and directly away from unwanted sound sources like a crowd or a loud monitor).

Q: 1. Will this film work in a bolex reflex s1 camera?

A: Yes, the Fomapan R100 is compatible with the Bolex Reflex S1 camera.

Q: 2. I see box dimensions but how high does this raise?

A: The ikan Teleprompter Riser Plate for Mounting Larger Cameras on PT4500/PT4700 raises the camera 2.06″ or 52.5mm.

Q: 3. How can this reflector be possibly used as an umbrella reflector as described by B&H? It is too wide. I tried it on my Siros L800 with the umbrella that came with the kit. Won't work.

A: Hi John, you are correct - the L40 reflector will not allow an umbrella to be attached. Only the Umbrella Reflector for Siros / Siros L (B&H#BRURSMFR#B-33.117.00), included with your Siros 800L, accommodates an umbrella. We have submitted a request to B&H have this corrected. Thank you for your support of broncolor products!

Q: 4. Would this film work in a Revere 8, model 88?

A: Yes, this film will work in any REGULAR 8mm camera, also called a STANDARD 8mm camera. These are the older 8mm cameras made beforeSuper 8 was introduced. The film comes in a open roll, not a cartridge. When you load the camera be sure to do so in dim light so you won't fog the film. Hope you still have the empty take-up reel in the camera! Thenexpose the film correctly for 100ASA and be sure to focus the camera.Check the internet for 8mm black and white processing. Shooting movieson film is expensive but I believe it is more fun and rewarding than shootingon video. Good luck! JB

Q: 5. I just got my grandpas Bell and Howell Sportster. Im just starting to get educated. Will this film work?

A: Yes, this is the only film in the world that will work in (non Super 8) 8mm movie cameras like the Sporster. Be sure to talk to the lab that is going to process the film so that you two are on the same page. You will have to learn how to thread the film, (research on-line for a manual) expose it, flip it, and then ship to the lab.

Q: 6. does the come with a wrench?

A: Yes this does come with a wrench in the package.

Q: 7. Will this fit the GEEKOTO AT24Pro Dreamer 77" Aluminum Tripod? Will the Peak Design strap work with a Nikon D7500 and Sigma 100-400mm lens?

A: Hello; the answer is yes to both questions. The peak design plate is arca-swiss compatible, as is the head for your tripod. I leave these plates on my camera all the time for that reason. It really speeds things up and simplifies my process. The strap will work well--i.e. it's plenty strong enough, but there is a matter of personal preference for width and thickness across the different models (e.g. larger or regular or lite). Best regards.

Q: 8. Can I use it with Ad600 Pro ? Should i buy bowens mount speedring ?

A: No, the Broncolor L40 Standard Reflector for Siros and Siros L does not work on a Godox AD600 pro.

Q: 9. I have a Revere 116-D regular 8mm camera that only has an ASA dial setting between 10 and 40 ASA. If I use this Fomapan 100 ISO film and film at the 40 ASA setting on the camera, what number would I need to ask for the film to be pulled when getting developed? Would it be -1 or more?

A: Ask them to pull it about 1-1.5 stops.

Q: 10. I have a Benro MeFOTO RoadTrip Pro Carbon Fiber Series 1 Travel Tripod. Will this work?

A: The Peak Design PL-S-3 Standard Plate will fit the head included with the Benro MeFOTO RoadTrip Pro Carbon Fiber Series 1 Travel Tripod.
