Optimized for viewing across vast distances, the 45° angled viewing Endurance ED 25-75x85 Spotting Scope from Hawke Sport Optics features high-quality glass with specialized optical coatings that present you with bright & crisp high-resolution images throughout the entire magnification range.
The lens elements are made of extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to correct for chromatic aberrations, increase contrast, and improve color rendition. Additionally, they are anti-reflection fully multicoated to prevent light loss and further boost contrast and resolution. To ensure accurate color across the entire visible spectrum, the BAK4 Porro prisms are dielectric coated. These coatings are highly reflective and minimize the loss of light while further improving contrast and color fidelity. This combination of coatings and optics creates a spotting scope that produces bright, clear, high-contrast images with accurate color transmission—even when observing subjects on maximum magnification at extremely long distances.
This iteration of the Endurance ED has a two-speed focusing system to allow for fast coarse and precision fine focusing, making it a perfect complement to the wide zoom range. The angled-viewing configuration sets the eyepiece at a 45° angle to the scope's body, which places your head in a more comfortable viewing position versus straight-through viewing models, and the scope body can be rotated relative to the tripod mount for the perfect eyepiece positioning. The chassis is made of polycarbonate, which is corrosion, impact, and temperature resistant, and the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and sealed to be water and fogproof even in extreme weather conditions. A 1/4"-20 mount makes it compatible with many tripods, quick release plates, and other popular support systems like window mounts.

- Optimized for observing at extreme distances across wide expanses
- Powerful 25-75x zoom eyepiece allows users to discern fine details
- Large 85mm objective lens ensures views remain bright and crisp even in challenging light conditions or when observing subjects on maximum magnification at long distances
- Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass corrects for chromatic aberrations for increased contrast and true color rendition
- Anti-reflection fully multicoated optics maximize light transmission to improve contrast and deliver accurate color fidelity
- BAK4 Porro prism design for better edge-to-edge sharpness and depth of view
- Highly reflective dielectric prism coatings to reduce light loss and boost contrast and resolution
- 90-foot field of view at 1000 yards at 25x power, 46.5 feet at 75x magnification
- The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the scope body to put the user's head in a more comfortable position when standing, sitting, or lying prone
- Dual focusing mechanism allows for fast coarse and precision fine focusing to make finding and viewing multiple or moving subjects fast and easy
- Slip-resistant focusing knobs are easy to manipulate in cold or wet weather, even while wearing gloves
- Twist-up eyecup allows you to fine-tune your perfect eye relief with or without eyewear
- Standard 1/4"-20 mount is compatible with most quick release plates, heads, and photo/video/field tripods and other support systems

- Comfortable 3.4mm exit pupil at 25x
- Lightweight, temperature-resistant, and durable polycarbonate chassis
- Chassis' temperature resistance virtually eliminates the expansion and contraction common with metal chassis that can cause the optical components to move out of alignment over time
- Nitrogen filled and sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditions
- Built-in retractable sunshade helps to limit peripheral reflections and lens flare to improve contrast and prevent spooking animals and birds
- Included stay-on/view-through soft cover offers maximum protection for the spotter while retaining full access to the tripod mount, focuser, sunshade, and eyepiece
- Flip-down objective lens cap keeps the lens clean and protected with the ability to quickly react to glassing opportunities
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. What is the outer diameter of the eyepiece?
A: The eyepiece is approximately 6.5" in diameter.
Q: 2. Which eyepiece and tripod do you recommend for this scope?
A: It comes with the 13-30X zoom eyepiece. Since we use it as a packable scope for birding and we don't use it for digi-scoping, the zoom eyepiece is the most appropriate choice. We also use a lightweight and compact Manfotto 4-section tripod, because we can fit it into a backpack. It seems stable enough on all but the strongest winds.
Q: 3. Is the front threaded for a filter? What mm size if it is ? Thanks
A: No, the front objective housing is not threaded for a filter.
Q: 4. Looking for recommendations for a fluid head tripod that would be a good match for the M2 100mm spotting scope? Will use scope for both terrestrial and extra-terrestrial viewing.
A: Will you be hiking with the scope and tripod?
Q: 5. Are there replacement lens caps? I can't find any online... Thank you.
A: Please contact our technical support team and a representative will be able to assist you in acquiring a new replacement lens cap. The best way to reach them is by submitting a ticket here: https://www.celestron.com/pages/technical-support
Q: 6. Is it possible to mount an Olympus OMD 4/3 camera with an adapter? & if so which one?
A: If the Olympus camera can mount a T-ring adapter, it could be done. In fact, there are so many adapters out there, you could surely find one. I have mounted a Nikon DSLR to my Spotting Scope. However: since this is eyepiece projection, the vignetting is horrible. I got one image of a bald eagle with my rig, but was very disappointed with it, and haven't tried again. It's a great spotting scope, but not an adequate photo accessory.
Q: 7. Which adapter would you recommend for the Regal M2 80ED to use with Nikon D810? Thanks
A: I would recommend the Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Nikon DSLR Cameras BH #NOUA00NI01 • MFR #UA-00NI-01 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1007579-REG/novagrade_ua_00ni_01_nikon_camera_universal_adapter.html
Q: 8. Does this scope have image stabilization capability
A: The ZEISS Victory Harpia 23-70x95 Spotting Scope and all other current spotting scopes do not have IS. The magnification of a spotting scope is too much for current IS systems to handle.
Q: 9. I have a Gimbel head for my tripod that I use with my camera. Will this head work for the Regal M2?
A: The Celestron Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope with 22-67x Eyepiece (Angled Viewing), BH # CERM2100EDSS, should work with most gimbal heads that feature a standard 1/4"-20 threaded male stud and can accommodate a payload of at least 7 lbs.
Q: 10. Can this scope could be used with a Canon t6i for digiscoping?
A: Yes you can do the Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Canon DSLR Cameras.Website link: http://bhpho.to/1lbpWak
