Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. I have an old Kodak bantam f/ 4.5. will this film work for that?
A: Yes, the Kodak Bantam f/ 4.5 accepts 828 film like the Film for Classics Professional Tri-X 400 Black and White Negative Film (828 Roll Film).
Q: 2. is this for a pony 828 camera?
A: Yes, this is 828 size film. the Kodak Pony was made in two size, 828 and 135. Be sure you have the Pony 828 and if so, this film will work for you.
Q: 3. what is expiration date?
A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.
Q: 4. How many exposures does this film have?
A: The amount of exposures on this Ilford Delta 400 120 film depends on the medium format camera it is used with. For example, using this on a Hasselblad 501CM which shoots in 6 x 6 cm format, you can get 12 exposures from this roll.
Q: 5. My Kodak Batnam has a viewing window to see which number film I am on. Does this roll of film havesuch numbers to view?
A: According to the manufacturer, yes, the backing paper for all FFC 828 film is numbered to original Kodak specifications. The numbers can be seen in the window on the back of the camera. So you can use the Film for Classics Professional Tri-X 400 Black and White Negative Film (828 Roll Film) in the Kodak Bantam camera.
Q: 6. will this film work in a Kodak duaflex 2 camera?
A: Yes! The whole Duaflex line takes 620 film, and 400 film is a good, forgiving choice to work across a variety of lighting given the cameras fixed shutter speed.
Q: 7. Will this film work in my old Kodak bantam f/4.5? I also don't know how to develop it or any other films in this camera
A: The Film for Classics Pan 400 Black and White Negative Film (828 Roll Film) is compatible with the Kodak Bantam f/4.5 camera. The Darkroom does process 828 films. Here is their website: https://thedarkroom.com/film-formats/828-film/.
Q: 8. Does this film have the original widely-spaced holes on one side of the film like the original 828 ? OR . . . does it have the closely-spaced double sprockets on both sides like 35mm film has ?
A: This film has no sprocket holes.
Q: 9. I just got a roll of this for an Old Kodak tourist camera. It comes so wrapped up. Do I have to load the camera with the film in the dark?
A: It is recommended to load this film in as dark as possible of a location as possible. You will definitely want to avoid direct sunlight.
Q: 10. How many exposures does this film contain?
A: In a camera that uses 6X9 format e.g. old Kodak Brownie...1940s vintage, I got 8 exposures.
