The white B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Mid Gain, with LEMO 3-Pin Connector for MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S WisyCom wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I have two receivers and four transmitters, will the two receivers operate on two different frequencies?

A: Yes

Q: 2. With the single transmitter system can you add another transmitter later? If so, where the heck are they?

A: The transmitter(s) found in the Rode Wireless GO II Single Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder with Lightning Cable for iOS Kit are only available for purchase as part of a system and are not available individually at this time.

Q: 3. Could I use these for PA (public address) purposes? Will the delay 19millesecond affect what the audience hears from the room speakers?

A: You could but you would be better off using a proper PA. The lav is omni directional which is not well suited for public speaking. You will pick up a lot of things you don't want.

Q: 4. Can the Rode Wireless Go II work at the same time as the Sennheiser g3's or should I expect interference?

A: They should be able to co-exist without any interference.

Q: 5. Can this be used internationally?

A: Since this is a self-contained system, you can definitely use it internationally. The transmitter and receiver sync to each other and the receiver plugs right into your recording device - camera, Xoom recorder, whatever. You just need adapter plugs for whatever country you are in for charging the batteries

Q: 6. Where can I find a user manual? The quick start guide is worthless.

A: Rode has a detailed user guide for the Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder available on their website. Here is a link: https://rode.com/en/user-guides/wireless-go-ii

Q: 7. How hard is it to flip the mic around in the clip without tools?

A: The lapel clip in the Sennheiser AVX-ME2 SET Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System can be easily detached from the mic head for reorienting as needed.

Q: 8. Will these work with GoPro Hero 8?

A: Yes, using this adaper: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1274435-REG/gopro_aamic_001_3_5mm_mic_adapter.html

Q: 9. can the receiver be used with Panasonic px 300 video recorder ?

A: The receiver can be connected to the microphone input on any recorder, camera, smartphone or other similar device to record audio. I am not able to find specifications for a Panasonic model PX 300 video recorder, but if it has a standard mic input, then the wireless mic system can be connected.

Q: 10. How do you connect multiple rode wireless go sets together for a single source?

A: You can connect the output from the wireless receivers for multiple RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone Systems to separate input channels on a mixer and then you can send the audio output from the mixer to a single input source.
