The black I2 Instrument Microphone, Standard Gain, with TA4F Connector for Telex LT Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard gain and is suitable for close miking and loud instruments like horns. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Telex LT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective for picking up sound directly in front of the microphone and is less sensitive to sound directly behind the microphone. It picks up about 1/3 less ambient noise than the omnidirectional polar pattern, so the working distance (the distance a performer could be positioned from the microphone) is approximately 1.7 times that of the omni. The cardioid pattern works best when you can position the microphone directly towards the sound you wish to record (a lead singer, for example) and directly away from unwanted sound sources like a crowd or a loud monitor).

Q: 3. Four questions, is it compatible to Samsung Galaxy? Do the lenses contain eye cups to block out external light? What the maximum degrees of altitude for viewing on the tripod? What is the maximum height of the tripod? My last telescope made it difficult if not impossible to view anything above 40 degrees and when looking I had to actually get on my knees on the ground and no eyecups.

A: Yes it is compatible with any Android or Apple IOS smart phone. The eyepieces that come with the telescope do not have eyecups. Eyecups are not usually needed for astronomy since you are using the telescope in the dark or near dark conditions. There are optional eyepieces that you can buy that have eyecups.
