  A: If you can keep the total load of the FS5 to under 8.8 pounds, which should not be an issue as it is already a small camera, this head will work very nice with it. It also has a standard 3/8 connection on the bottom of it that will integrate with Manfrotto products. It should work out well for you.

The famous Sachtler Touch and Go quick release plate on top of the head can take accessories or cameras with either a 1/4 -20 or 3/8 -16 screw hole. That would mean it can take 99.99% of cameras and ancillary equipment ever made in it's weight range.

  A: This should be just about right for the 5D Mark II and lens. That combination can be 4-8 lbs. and should be a sweet spot for the head. Reports are that it works well with much lighter cameras such as the Sony NEX 7 with success. Just be aware that while The S6 has adjustable counterbalance, tilt drag adjustment and pan/tilt locks, there is no pan drag adjustment. All in all however, you do get a lot of video head for the money.
