Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with a Sony alpha a35?

A: This radio trigger is not directly compatible with the Sony A35, as that camera uses the older Sony/Minolta type shoe. You would need an adapter such as the Vello HSA-CSASM Sony/Minolta to Sony Multi-Interface Shoe Adapter, BH # VEHSACSASM.

Q: 2. does it works also with a standard hotshoe like the one of old film camera?

A: The Vello FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz Wireless Trigger System for Sony Multi Interface Shoe is not designed for use with standard camera hot shoes. Sony Multi-Interface hot shoe has a row of pins that, in other cameras, can potentiality be shorted and may cause the unit to not function correctly. I would instead recommend the Vello FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz Wireless Trigger System for Canon, B&H # VEFWB24C, for use with older cameras with manual hot shoes.

Q: 3. Will this system work with a Canon 6D to trigger an Alien Bee 800?

A: I believe it will when using the proper sync cord

Q: 4. I have the Canon G7X G7X Mark III and the G5X Mark II will this work with those cameras?

A: No, These are made to use with a hot shoe camera.

Q: 5. will this work with nikon film cameras, such as the F100?

A: Yes it will work with your F100 for flash sync via hotshoe or PC jack, and remote via the 10 pin connector. Plenty of cables for connectivity are included in the box. My N90 works well in both modes.

Q: 6. which one would work with panasonic gh5??

A: There are many remote shutters that work with the GH5. This is some of them, https://bhpho.to/45WKyLf .

Q: 7. Is this trigger compatible with fujifilm x pro 3?

A: This can work with a Fuji X Pro 3.

Q: 8. I have a Canon T4i and a relatively inexpensive separate external flash. Am I right to assume that I can use this to trigger my camera's shutter, and at the same time trigger an off camera flash using the hotshoe I see in the image, to take a photograph?

A: This device can either be used to trigger a flash or be used to trigger the shutter. It cannot do both at the same time. In order to remotely trigger the camera and remotely trigger a flash you would need this device and a separate remote trigger device. You could buy an extra set of the FWB-24. Use one set for the flash trigger and the 2nd set for shutter release. Alternatively, you can purchase a dedicated shutter release such as the Vello FreeWave Remote Shutter Release. Use the FWB-24 for flash triggering and the Freewave Remote Shutter Release to fire the camera. Here is a link for the dedicated shutter release: http://bhpho.to/18CMAln.

Q: 9. Will this work not on Nikon 5200 but will I be able to trigger Phottix Mitros + flash?

A: This can work with the D5200, but it cannot trigger the internal receiver of a Phottix Mitros + flash.

Q: 10. Does this system work with Nikon Z6?

A: It will work with a Nikon Z6.
