This Bracket 1 EX2 Camera-Mounting Kit lets you attach any full-size wireless microphone receiver to your camcorder.

Designed for handheld or tripod mounted shooting, this rugged mount is constructed with lightweight aluminum and stainless steel hardware. It attaches to the tripod mounting hole of your camera, while allowing your tripod plate to screw to the bottom of the bracket. The adjustable foot lets the camera sit level when you set it down, with or without a tripod plate attached. This model locates the mounting surface on the right side of the camcorder, just outside your hand for great balance when shooting handheld.

This versatile camera accessory bracket can also be configured with additional shoe mounts and accessory adapters, allowing a variety of video and audio accessories to be attached simultaneously. A quick-plate mount with regular and large-size hook-and-loop straps is included. A 3/8" to 1/4"-20 thread tripod hole adapter is also included.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this fit on a bogen tripod?

A: No, It's for a manfrotto tripod

Q: 2. Would this allow for two mono inputs such as two original Rode Wireless go mics, plus a stereo shut in mic at the same time?

A: The Beachtek DXA-GO Two-Channel Adapter/Bracket for GO Wireless Receiver and Camera will accept two mono inputs simultaneously or a single stereo input, but will not accept all three inputs at once.

Q: 3. Does it work also with the SmallRig Forevala W60 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System (2.4 GHz) ?

A: Yes you can use the TRS to TRS Cable included with the SmallRig Forevala W60 system to connect it to the stereo mic input on the Beachtek DXA-GO.

Q: 4. Can this be used with the base plate that works with the BH-55 head? I am considering the BH-30 to use on a travel tripod.

A: Yes the same base plate will work for both!

Q: 5. I have RRS plate for Fuji XT-1. It doesn't fit my new Fuji XT-2.Any suggestions??

A: RRS plates are model specific. It's not the fault of RRS that the plat for XT-1 doesn't fit the XT-2. Small differences in the manufacturer's design equate to design differences in dedicated accessories such as camera plates. The width of the chassis, length of the chassis, offset location of the tripod screw hole, and the location of battery doors and ports all mean that the plate has to be redesigned for the new model. It's the unfortunate price for the ultimate in stable support. If you want a plate that is applicable to a variety of platforms, you'll need to use a generic Arca-Swiss style plate. The result will be less stability when the ball head is put in portrait mode.

Q: 6. Is the Arca plate included with the purchase of this ball head?

A: No the Quick Release Plates is Not Included

Q: 7. Will this ball head work with the Peak Design Capture plate?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. Has anyone had specific experience using the Lever-Release on the BH-40 ballhead with Markins and Sunway L-brackets and Kirk replacement tripod foot for Canon 100-400? They work with my Markins Lever Release ballhead, and I'm now looking for an additional lever-release ballhead. RRS website says to use knob release for non-RRS plates. (Yes, I know B&H sells Markins ballheads, but apparently only the knob release, and not the lever release heads. Thanks in advance.

A: RRS as well as many other manufacturers use the Arca style system which is a standard and allows for interchangeability of brands.

Q: 9. Does this ball head come with a quick release plate?

A: Unfortunately, the BH-55 does not include a quick release plate. A suitable plate to fit most cameras to this head is the Really Right Stuff BP-CS Multi-Camera Conventional Plate, B&H # REBPCSPLATE. https://bhpho.to/33pXg7o

Q: 10. Are the volume knobs stepless (i.e. a smooth transition from low to high volume)? Or does it have noticeable jumps in volume at different levels?

A: This is an attenuator devices, the knobs are for gain, not for volume. The knobs are smooth.
