A: No, the WAir-G2-A1 has a single-channel receiver and one transmitter so it records one signal as dual mono which means you hear the same audio on both the left and right channels. The WAir-G2-A2 (B&H # SYWAIRG2A2) has a two-channel receiver and two transmitters. The two-channel system allows you to switch between mono or stereo on the receiver. Recording in mono combines both microphones so you hear them both the left and right sides of your audio track. Recording in stereo puts one person on the left and the other person on the right, allowing you to isolate each person's dialog and adjust each level individually later in post.
