Add a teleprompter system to your existing camera rig with the Prompter People Prompter Pal PAL12-15MM Teleprompter with Reversing Monitor, 12 x 12" Glass, and 15mm Rod Block. This teleprompter mounts onto your 15mm rods, which makes it easy to add it as a prompting system to your existing camera rig that uses 15mm LWS support rods. It includes a 12" diagonal 400 cd/m2 reversing monitor to provide text for your talent to read.

The prompter hood uses a 65/35 beamsplitter glass that is 12 x 12" in size. This provides your talent with a reading range up to 12' away. The prompter folds flat for transport and storage, and it uses a metal frame to hold the glass as well as a black cloth hood to create good contrast and protect the beamsplitter from light contamination. The front of the hood features four 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting holes.

The included 15mm Rod Block enables mounting the Prompter hood, glass, and monitor onto your existing 15mm LWS rod support/camera rig.

With the rod-mounted capabilities, you can mount this on a tripod, via your camera rig, or use it as a shoulder mounted teleprompter (requires optional shoulder pad, not included).

The 65/35 low-iron optical quality beamsplitter glass provides a bright overlay of text that can be read from up to 12' away, while remaining invisible to your camera.

Supports most cameras including camcorders, DSLRs, and ENG types.

Aluminum frame provides counterweight-free balance when used with any camera size.

Can be easily folded for secure transport and storage.

An optional Freestanding kit enables mounting the glass, hood, and monitor on a stand in front of the camera instead of mounting the camera to the prompter and then mounting the entire setup on a tripod.

An optional Sled Kit enables mounting the prompter and your camera onto an optional tripod.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I want to use it outside, where I have no AC-Power. Is there any option to run it by a battery?

A: While Ikan does not make a cable that allows this Teleprompter to be powered by more traditional Video Production batteries, we do have some options for battery packs with an AC power connection that you could look into. The GOAL ZERO Yeti 150 Solar Generator Power Pack would be a good place to start.

Q: 2. Does it work with a razer kiyo webcam?

Q: 3. Could anyone please post a photo of how this works with the GeChic 1101p HD monitor instead of an iPad? In one of the reviews, Troy says he uses the gechic. Would like to see a photo. Thanks!

A: This Prompter uses a tablet up to 10 inches wide for the image it is reflecting. You can see how that tablet is connected better in this photo.https://bit.ly/2NXhGtCIf you can find a monitor that is only 10 , we do not sell such a monitor from GeChic currently, you could then use that in this prompter and have that monitor connected to a computer running Prompter Software.

Q: 4. I'd like to be able to feed video to the prompter via a Blackmagic Design ATEM TV Studio HD switcher (Aux output). Does the monitor give me the ability to adjust resolution so the doesn't look squeezed?

Q: 5. How do i order this product with both the light stand mount and 15 rod mount ? There's no options for this at the moment. It's either one or the other.

A: If you order the 15mm version, it comes with an attachment that not only takes the 15mm rods but also has a 1/4-20 screw hole. If you procure a stand with the 1/4 -20 attached such as the Impact Air-cushioned Light Stand (Black, 8') B&H # IMLS8A or an adapter such as the Manfrotto 014-14 Rapid Adapter - 5/8 Stud to 1/4-20 Thread B&H # MA01414, you are good to go.
