A: I have this system. I'm not at the studio to measure exactly, but the handles stick out about 8 on each end. They can be mounted on left or right. I have three rolls so I alternated the chain mounts so they wouldn't tangle each other (1 on left, 2 right). Hope this helps.

From testing here in the SuperStore the only cap we sell that would attach would be a 52mm cap, into the barrel of the lens when the camera is off. Once the camera turns on, the lens begins to move outward and the cap pops off. If you buy a 52mm cap just be aware it will not stay once the camera is turned on.
