A: The simple answer is you are buying the Nikon brand. That is all.

Q: 2. Does it increase the D750 fps like the battery pack did for the D700?

A: It does not claim to nor does it appear to in my experience. Same frame rate with or without.

Q: 3. What is on the underside of the battery pack? Still able to mount on my tripod or is it only usable as handheld?

A: It can be mounted on your tripod and if you needs require an L-Bracket , that can be mounted as well.

A: China. It's printed on the pack.

Q: 5. Does it still have a tripod mount on the bottom?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 6. MB-D16 Battery Power PackIt holds one EN-EL15 battery or 6AA batteries. Are there separate battery holders or 1 for both AA and EN-EL15 battery?

A: There are separate holders. I personally havent used the AA one yet but it comes with two separate trays.

Q: 7. what does coming soon mean?

Q: 8. Does the EN-EL15 battery have to be inside the D800 for the grip to work? This assumes the 8xAA tray or the other EN-EL15 or EN-EL18 being in the grip.

I took my D750 with the D16 out in sub-zero weather and it performed flawlessly. Having multiple power sources is a must in cold weather. The fit of the D16 to the 750 is seemless and tight. I have always enjoyed the vertical shutter release that battery packs give you as well.

I read earlier reviews about the price being so high but you get what you pay for. I cant complain at all great battery pack. I needed the battery pack mainly because of shooting video with my D750. The extended time is great and the quick access for swapping out the battery is fantastic.

This Nikon battery pack save me alot of times, who doesnt need extra battery when you are out the whole day taking pictures. Afrer adding it on, it is not that heavy and it have a shutter button on it to take portrait style. I read reviews not to get the knock off brand and get the one from nikon, i recommend getting this one.

If you shoot vertical or portrait oriented pictures... why wouldn't you purchase a MB-D16? Far superior ergonomically and 2x the battery life. Easily attached or removed, its always on for work but if I'm traveling... I take it off.

Most of you are wondering if this is worth the big ticket price of the unit. I personally have tried the aftermarket power packs and found them to be poorly made and poor fitting. This said I still don't think this product should be this expensive but it is and it works, looks, fits and feels great on my D750. If you truly are a serious about your gear just suck it up and get what works the first time. I am truly happy with my purchase.

With my experience with the MB D15 for my Nikon D7100 it was natural to purchase the MB D16 for my new D750. Aside from the obvious features and benefits, with large hands, this products allows for a fuller grip. Additionally with heavier glas like the Nikon 70-200 this proivdes a much better balance and ease of shooting for extended periods of time. Highly recommmend.

I would ask all of you to read my review ratings on B&H for the D750. If you are like me the camera is almost a disaster waiting to happen without the the grip on the camera body. #1. The 750 body is a lot smaller then it's big brother D700, (A LOT SMALLER). So if you are like me having a solid grip on the camera is a #1 priority. Without the MD-16 added to the camera body, I'm just not OK using the camera. #2. I also use a kirk quick release bracket with a hand strap attached for the best camera control possible. ( I'm not a fan of using the neck strap that comes the the camera. That is also asking for camera damage, as well as looking like a non professional with the strap hanging around your neck and the camera swinging and banging all over the place. (Think about it). #3. The after market (non nikon brands have a really bad battery drainage problem. read reviews. I hope that you find some of this information helpful.

I have always went with OEM when dealing batteries and battery packs! Yes it cost more money than some of the after market alternatives, but I have never been disappointed yet! Great quality and very rugged! I would recommend this product to anyone!
