The black Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Sennheiser Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Sennheiser SK 2020-D wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the blue TRS to TRRS cable be purchased separately?

A: Here is a link to the standalone product page for that cable. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1629643-REG/sennheiser_508908_cl_35_trrs_locking.html

Q: 2. Hi,I have some Canon 600EX-RT's that I'd like to use with this bar. Can flashes be mounted beneath the bar so that they hang upside down? Basically, I want two on top and two on the bottom.

A: Yes, flashes can be mounted while hanging below the bar. The Mounts can be unscrewed and put on upside down. Either way though, you want to make sure that you use both the hotshoe's tightening screw and the flash's tightening screw to keep it secured. If you only screw down one of your fasteners, then there is still a chance that the flash could fall out of the hotshoe. (We found that out the hard way.)

Q: 3. Is there a way to listen to the audio while simultaneously recording with the XLR adaptor on a DSLR?

A: Generally the answer is no. The AVX, like most wireless systems, outputs a mic level signal. It is not designed for direct audio monitoring. If you want to monitor the signal you have a couple of options: Use the headphone output from your DLSR (if it has one), use a mixer between the AVX wireless receiver and the DSLR ( JuicedLink, Beachtek, and Sound Devices offer a great range of products, these usually have a built in headphone amplifier for audio monitoring), or use a field video monitor that includes audio monitoring from the camera's HDMI port. I would just double check if your DLSR is actually sending audio down the HDMI port.

Q: 4. Do the cold-shoe mounts on the bar allow for the flashes to swivel left and right? I assume so. For instance on one bar, lets say I have 2 flash units that I want each pointed out at 45 degree angles (as opposed to straight as into an umbrella) thanks in advance :)

A: Yes, I have mounted 2 Canon 600EX RTs on the top and 2 on the bottom. Using this with the Westcott Orb and find it easier to mount the speedlites prior to attaching the softbox.

Q: 5. Is there a pro version of this kit upgraded to mke lavalieres?

A: Currently, the only ENG package we carry that feature an MKE lavalier is the AVX-MKE2 SET-4-US and it does not come with a handheld microphone or in a dual set-up.

Q: 6. is one of the Lav's an MKE2?

A: They are both ME 2's

Q: 7. How does audio quality and range compare with conventional Sennheiser Evolution series wireless? The compact receivers are attractive, but I am concerned about apparent lack of lack of traditional wireless features like diversity receivers.

A: The AVX digital wireless systems are compander-free and offer pristine audio reproduction. The transmitter outputs at 100 mW (average) so should be minimal to zero trade off with regards to range.

Q: 8. Will this work if connected with a USB-C adapter?

A: Yes, you can use a USB-C adapter like the Apple USB Type-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APMU7E2AMA) or the BOYA 3.5mm TRRS Female to USB Type-C Male Adapter Cable (B&H # BOBYK9) with the Sennheiser MKE 200 Mobile Kit. As another option, instead of using a USB-C adapter, you can get a dedicated cable like the Saramonic 3.5mm Locking Male to USB Type-C Converter Cable (B&H # SAUTCC35) to use with the mic instead of using a USB-C adapter with one of the included mic cables.

Q: 9. Does anyone if this will this fit an M/S pair of Schoeps mics(CMC6-MK41/MK8) when used with the Rycote back to back clips?

A: This kit is compatible with the Schoeps CMC Series. Please contact RYCOTE directly for your custom configuration with various microphone models.Rycote Microphone Windshields Ltd:Email:Tech Support: tech_support@a href= http://rycote.com target= _blank rycote.com/a

Q: 10. Will this fit the Sennheiser G2 Wireless?

A: Yes the Sennheiser CL1 cable is compatible with Sennheiser G2 receivers.

I have been shooting the progress of a $3million (plus) salmon recovery project funder by the Yakima Indian Nation. Once or twice a week I gain entrance to the project and photograph workers on or off many laders and back hoes. Using 4x6 prints created in a sumpled Canon Selfy printer using both battery on site and commputer in the office I have fouond this album the the easiest to load I have ever used. However verticle prints have to be cropped to retain that aspect in the book.
